Do keep in mind that sometimes the guy in the left lane can’t go as fast as they want because of the person/s in front of them. I have people tailgate me all the time when this happens and there’s nothing I can do about it. When that happens and I don’t have a lane to change into, I’ll double tap the break to say ‘hey get off my ass’. When that doesn’t work, I gradually slow down till the other person or me can get into another lane. When I can’t do that I just keep slowing down till I’m either driving ridiculously slow or they finally back off.

Usmc, I’mm convinced many people drive in the left lane because they think to themselves, “This speed is JUST fine for me so it should be fine for everyone else too! Who cares if they can’t pass me?” They are arrogant imbeciles.
100% agree. I never meant to imply people should ride in the left lane.

I think people that drive 20mph over the speed limit are stupid drivers. I don’t care what lane they’re in :)
Too many variables involved to make that assessment. For instance, I’m a safer driver at 100 mph than my mom or dad are at 55.
It’s not raw speed that determines safety; it’s the driver and equipment.
And even if there is a truly stupid speeding driver it’s not your job to play quasi-vigilante by impeding him in the left lane.
I think your example makes sense from your perspective, but it’s a bit of a reach. Yes at 100 mph I am a better driver than my 86 year old grandmother doing 55; however, I am a safer driver going 55 than I am going 100.
No, you shouldn’t play police/vigilant, but I strongly disagree that you should have to move out of another drivers way because, in this example, they want to go 35mph over the speed limit. Look if I’m doing 75 in a 65 and a car comes up behind me obviously moving faster I move over, but that’s out of courtesy something most people lack.
I completely agree you should not ride the left lane though.
Despite raising taxes on the rich, California tax revenue down by 20%…
Looks like soaking the rich didn’t work.

Just gotta soak 'em some more. Don’t stop now. Sheesh, soak 'em til there aint none left!
The rich left Push, I should really call them “tax contributors.” Wanna know who is replacing them ? Poor immigrants from the South, the welfare state just got more people on the dole.
Get this, not only did they raise taxes, they made them retroactive too. So businesses are getting juiced for years already passed.

Hopefully you will never find yourself having to get your pregnant wife to an ER or any other emergency where other people depend on you going faster.
Officials propose year-round ban of open burning on beaches in LA and Orange County counties…
That’s right, no more bonfires or BBQ’ing on the beach, all in an attempt to “improve the air quality.”
Un-fucking-believable.

Come on man, of course there are extreme situations like this, but they are few and far between.

Funny story:
My wife had 3 false alarms, and on the 3rd, I was atill at work.
I have a 30 mile commute over 2 highways and through a small city, over a river and then I’m home. The fastest bridge goes through left of downtown, right by the hockey stadium.
There was a show that night and traffic was packed, so I tried to go through downtown. There were two lanes shutdown for the show over there too. Traffic was insane.
Cops pulled me over for asking to be let through because my wife was in labor and I was on my way home.
This is how it went:
“Officer, my wife is in labor, can you let me through I have to get accross the bridge.”
“Pull over”
“Seriously? for what?”
Says to his partner: “Give him a ticket for being an asshole”
Woman cop comes up “Licence and reg”
I hand her my dicover card, lol, and as I’m reaching for my reg, still on the phone with my wife, I go, into the phone “XXXX’s finest just pulled me over because you are pregnant.” My wife explodes on the phone. Lady cop can hear her.
“Sir, what is this?” Holding up my Discover Card.
“Shit, I’m sorry, my wife is in labor, I’m stuck in this traffic, and your partner wants to fine me for trying to get home, I’m scatter brained right now.”
She laughted, handed me my card and said “go have your baby.” Then yelled at her partner, “You’re a dickhead”
So… Back on the phone with the wife trying to merge in, and this 20 something chick and her boyfirend won’t let me merge into traffic. As their car gets close I let them know, in a volly of profanity how awesome they were for not letting me merge…
Good times.

Bloomberg is now going after tobacco since his soda ban failed…
Congratulations California, you now have the highest unemployment rate…
5 out of the 6 Bell officials found guilty of corruption.
And in other news, we can’t commend you for your effort because other kids might get upset, saweeee.

Wonder if Feinstein knows she is holding a Thompson Sub-Machine Gun, which had been highly, highly restricted since 1934.
Nice gun.
I wonder how many people were killed by the gun she is holding in the last 10 years or so.
