No. Again, it was blown out of proportion by Fox. LPS is not seeking to remove the titles of boys and girls. As I stated before one, ONE school asked for gender sensitivity training and the administration provided it. The sky isn’t falling here.

Well that’s the problem isn’t it? If a teacher asks for “gender sensitivity training” in the classroom said teacher should be fired and probably placed on a sex offenders’ registry to make sure they never have access to children again. Right? Read the pamphlet. If you don’t “get it” then there’s something seriously amiss.

I’d link in the original article from the Lincoln Star Journal, but they want you to share it via Facebook or Twitter before you can see it.
From the Omaha World Herald…
All I know was I got into a discussion this last weekend about it was was informed that there are seven different types of gender.
Apparently they didn’t teach that class when I went to UNO.

You can call bullshit all you want, it won’t change the fact that you are still wrong. The district has no plans to change the way students are addressed. This was done out of some teachers’ concerns that they would not be prepared to handle such a situation if it arose. Your radical opinion of how a teacher, who requests training on how to handle a situation they could face, should be treated is obviously backed by some other agenda.

I take this seems appropriate to you?

Yes, I am in favor of a school district preparing its staff for situations it might encounter which is all that has happened here. I think that if teachers feel they are not prepared to handle a situation it is their duty to ask for the necessary training without bias. I also think it is the administrations duty to provide that training without bias. Getting pissed at the administration or teachers for addressing the issue is like getting pissed at them for requesting and providing training on how to handle student suicide. If you wanna get pissed off at someone, get pissed off at the student(s) who might kill themselves, not the staff for being prepared. I don’t agree with all the gender sensitivity stuff, I think it’s nuts, but there are some people who don’t think it’s nuts and for them it is very real. The school district should be ready to handle the situation when or if it arises.

I have a hunch – a hunch that is likely far more reasonably accurate than your purported “I just want teachers to be prepared, you know, like the Boy Scouts.” That hunch tells me political correctness and radicalism is what’s going on here. Stupid, inane, farcical political correctness. And you’re buying into it.

Oh that’s rich! So he “served” what, a month? And he needed two waivers to get in, with one being a waivers for previous drug use! What a dip shit. Looks like he’s perfectly set up for life in politics.
UC Berkeley students seek to block Bill Maher speech
Comedian Bill Maher is scheduled to be the speaker at UC Berkeley?s mid-year commencement, but some students, who object to what they allege to be his anti-Muslim statements, are asking administrators to rescind the invitation.
?It?s not an issue of freedom of speech, it?s a matter of campus climate,? student senator Marium Navid told the newspaper. ?The First Amendment gives him the right to speak his mind, but it doesn?t give him the right to speak at such an elevated platform as the commencement. That?s a privilege his racist and bigoted remarks don?t give him.?

The Stalinists turning on the Trotskyist. I love watching the left eat itself.
I’m going with a legitimate technical bug on this one, not a democrat conspiracy. I’ve used plenty of crappy touch screens with similar problems and the video doesn’t clearly show him NOT touching the top box. I can do a similar thing on my cell phone to get the wrong key to press.
