The really funny thing about all of this is that Nicky actually fancies himself enslaved at the moment lol
Explain how I(or you) am not. I have a government job, so I’m like a house slave(who does not wish to be a slave at all), but a slave nonetheless.

Are you single?
No, but why do you ask?
So you’ll be a slave regardless.

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand how…

MENLO PARK, Calif. (AP) ? You don’t have to be just male or female on Facebook anymore. The social media giant has added a customizable option with about 50 different terms people can use to identify their gender as well as three preferred pronoun choices: him, her or them.

Moron culture has taken over.

Indeed. Here’s another example of moronic paranoia from the other side.

I’m against Common Core for rational reasons that I can lay out. The paranoia of some people is flat mind boggling. Were they thinking this with Bush and No Child Left Behind? If not why not?

The internet has allowed the loony guy next door way too much sway. In b4 the “9/11 was an inside job and we never landed on the moon.”

And Alex Jones suggesting that President Obama created Hurricane Sandy to win the election.

Honestly I don’t know whether to laugh until my sides hurt or be horrifically scared at these paranoid schizophrenics.

And we wonder why we’re a laughing stock so often as Kansans. We deserve to be more times than not.

Solar power farm literally frying birds to death.

Real-life Iron Man armor to be ready for testing by June.

NY Governor wants to put taxpayers on the hook to pay for inmates college education. Another brilliant idea from the left.

My fav so far is “Alex Jones is a CIA plant to keep 911 Truthers from finding out the truth, by using mind control and pretending to be on their side.”

lmao…

I love it. A conspiracy inside a conspiracy.

The only theory I’ll even remotely begin to listen to, is they had an explosives system in place to prevent the towers from falling sideways and wiping out 6 blocks of people, rather than just kill the 3k+ in them.

And even then, I’m thinking that is bullshit.

Actual quote from lunacy Alex Jones site article:

The odd thing is he is a millionaire from telling everyone that everything that has ever happened is a government conspiracy. Only in America.

If you had all that student debt…and committed a felony would they waive it?

/seems logical

Didn’t tax payers pay for AC’s education in prison? Obviously he had the sense to take advantage of it and he, and we, are better off for it. The point being how many inmates are going to take advantage? According to the article it will cost 5k a year per inmate. How much are we already spending per inmate?

I see the anger with people when they have to pay out of pocket or go into debt while inmates will get a free ride but the real anger should be directed at the inflated costs of education. Whether or not a prisoner gets educated won’t change the fact that people are going into debt to pay for college.

I’m going to be 100% honest here:

They are going to take my money via tax no matter what. Given that, I’d 1000% rather have my money pay for someone in prison to get an education, find God or whatever they need to get their life on track, than have one cent of my money go to fund drone strikes on American Citizens violating their due process.

Shit, I’d rather pay for their PHD than bomb our own people who aren’t in the act of war.

You should not be rewarded for going to prison period. This is a slap to the face of all the people working their asses off to pay their way through college while staying out of trouble. It’s not hard to follow the rules and not commit felonies that land you in prison. I understand people make mistakes (and many learn from their mistake and don’t repeat them) but you shouldn’t be rewarded for making one. The only way this would be remotely ok in my opinion was if there was a guaranteed way the money would be paid back to the taxpayers directly from the inmates who used the program.

How many convicts that become gainfully employed from this would it take to pay it back? Much cheaper to keep them out of prison by giving them skills in the long run. I have known quite a few convicts and the hill is pretty steep once you have that on your resume and no marketable skills aside from being a criminal.

Who’s rewarding people for going to prison? The state. A degree may help a felon better compete once he gets out of prison. The felon tag will keep the felon from owning firearms. If the felon can get a job that otherwise would have gone to someone who is allowed to own a firearm, the person who can own a firearm will be worse off. He may end up in a position in which he’s almost forced to commit a crime to survive-that’s awesome, he will then lose his ability to defend himself. He may just end up with no spare time or energy(after working enough to survive) to care about what the government does-that’s awesome.

It seems like this is a pretty good investment for the state…especially considering that it’s investing its subjects money.

I am going to go out on a limb and assume there are enough people on SSDI that shouldn’t be so that those costs dwarf these. So, if we’re going to start talking about who drains our dollars more, this isn’t the place to pick up the baton.

Plus, like Testy mentioned, keeping them from coming back with something like this costs less than this program.

Do I like the idea? No. Do I like it compared to the other bullshit our government spends money on? Fuck and Yes.
