I have what I hope is a simple question. I recently switched my twice per week TRT injection protocol to once per week to see if I can keep SHBG from binding up so much free T.
Question: Should I also switch my 1mg/week Anastrozole from split doses (taking .5mg twice per week) to simply popping a 1mg tab once per week at the time of injection?
I second this 100%!
You may not even need arimidex…or only 0.5mg a week. It’s really important to have healthy estrogen levels – joint protection and bone health, neuro and cardiovascular protection, mood and libido and sexualfunction – and arimidex is powerful medicine; it can easily crush your E levels.
Testosterone level is important, and often that’s the only hormone men think about, but it’s critical to have your Free T, DHT, and estrogen levels in harmony, all at healthy levels.
If your doctor is resistant to order labs for all of these, you can get them ordered yourself at very good pricing, and conveniently get the blood draws at your local lab such as Quest, or wherever you’d be getting them when your doctor orders labs, through discountlabs.com.
