Anabolic Diet: Skipping Carb Loading

Will I lose fat faster if I skip the carb loading phase on the weekend? Or is this an absolute necessity to produce the results I want?

The carb load is one of the most important parts of the diet. Read the book.

If you cut it out (according to what I have read about dieting in general - I haven’t read the anabolic diet so this is my educated guess) then you won’t burn fat as efficiently and you will eventually plateau. The carb load not only replenishes glycogen from the low carb diet and lifting, but it boosts leptin and thyroid hormones which increase your metabolism.

wow dude. wow.

Just do the carb-up phase, you can make this fase shorter if you want but also to prevent canabalizing and fatique, you should always carb-up to my opinion.

What he said, the only way to know if a diet plan works or not, is to follow it to a tee. Plus, carb loading is fun!

Can this diet be done without the low carb phase?
