Sweet Potato Biscuits from the Paleo Indulgences cookbook

We had these at the gender reveal party for our baby.

Gluten free baby shower cake

More gluten free cake

gluten free cake…

last cake I think…

Sorry, now it’s the last cake

I have a few more food pics of what I’ve been eating lately. Since our son was born, we’ve had a few people bring us food. These can’t really be called carb-up meals even though they all contain some carbs.

Food from my Sister-in-Law:

Strawberry salad
Baked BBQ Chicken breast
Bacon wrapped green bean bundles marinated in Italian Dressing (one of my favorites)
Baked potato with sour cream
We had fruit for dessert (pineapple, strawberries, maybe something else) not pictured.

Food from Ryuubane:

Strawberry, pecan, and jalapeno salad
Zucchini noodle salad
Roasted Chicken
Garlic cheesy muffins (gluten-free) with Kerrygold Irish butter
Fruity Pebble Treats (SO GOOD)

Food that I cooked while my parents were in town:

Ribeye marinated in Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, Louisianna hot sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, EVOO
Roasted squash, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes cooked in coconut oil and Kerrygold Irish butter
Roasted rosemary golden potatoes
Grilled pineapple drizzled with honey (ridiculously good)

My wife cooked this for me for Father’s Day supper:

Pumpkin Pancakes from Practical Paleo with chocolate chips and honey
Eggs scrambled in coconut oil (I’ve already eaten most of the eggs before I took the picture

Food that people from our Sunday School class brought us from Logan’s Roadhouse:

Smokin’ Hot Grilled Wings
Two skewers of grilled wings with a smokin’ hot chipotle sauce flavored with TABASCO®.

8oz sirloin

Grilled Vegetable Skewer

Logan’s Sweet Potato with added Kerrygold Irish butter

This eating plan seems too good to be true… Please explain? Does this actually work to get ripped?

The foods in this thread are specifically for the carb loading portion of the nutrition plan. Whether that amounts to as much as two fulls days or one cheat meal depends on the individual, goals, metabolism, insulin sensitivity, bodyfat %, ect. For an overview of the whole diet look at the Anabolic Diet 2.0 thread on here.

Baked Beans
Potato Salad
Bacon Wrapped Green Bean Bundles
Bacon Wrapped Pickled Watermelon Rinds
Grilled Honey Glazed Pineapple with vanilla ice cream
Snack Mix consisting of Nutella, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chips, Butter, Chocolate Chex, Powedered Sugar, and we added M&M’s to the mix
