Anabolic Diet: Berries

Hey all,

So #1, I ordered the Anabolic Solution, it is in the mail from Amazon. So please don’t say, “Read the Book” as your advice, as it is on the way.

But in the meantime, today is grocery day. So I wanted some advice.

I went 2 weeks with no carb loading phase (induction) did my loading yesterday, feel great, and still had ketones in my piss this morning.

Currently my diet is -9 net carbs, (25.5 total carbs, with 34.5 grams of fiber a day). I want to put some berries (rasp, black, and straw) back into my diet while staying under the 30-50g carbs a day.

Is this ok during the week? Noob question, but I wanted to make sure that the insulin response from the glycimic index on the berries wasn’t a no no. Just planning on throwing a cup or 2 into my smoothies.

dude, no offence but we have an ENTIRE thread “anabolic diet 2.0” dedicated to these kinds of questions. please try not to jam up the entire nutrition and supplement forum with a new thread for each of your questions.

yes berries are okay. 50g of berries is like 5g of net carbs.
