Skid, I think I liked the Fugly dogs better than Pikachu. I had to watch too many of those shows not all that long ago.

There’s just no pleasing some people…
I’ve been drooling over this:

But I’ll probably get this:

Yep…I had forgotten that in my decades layoff. Thus my renewed efforts on mack work.
Skid-
Love the new “McFlabbatar”!
LOL!!
Those ‘triceps’ are HYOOOOOJ!
They belong to my friend Fatty McFattass.

Must be the poster child for the “GET HUGE” diet. Those are easily 20 inch arms. I am sure we will see more pictures of this person on the “Rate My Physique” forum.
I like the 1 arm DB shld press. Not only gets the shoulders but the core as well. At 180 lbs throwing the weight around you do, you must be ripped.

Try it. Getting the elbows forward makes you lift your chest which arches your upper back which gives you better leverage in the squat. It does make it hard to pinch the shoulder blades together, but it can be done.
I kept trying to do it the way Rippetoe described, but locking my wrists forces my elbows back and rotates my thorax forward. More often than not I’ll end up doing a good morning to get the weight to lockout.
Let me second the recommendation Geech. Keeping my elbows forward so that they are basically under the bar has helped me out considerably. At least in how the squat feels. It’s also given me a depth gauge in that when my elbows touch my knees I know that I’m parallel or below.[/quote]
Every night, dear friends, I shall burn whey incense on the altar of Milo and ask that your elbows not be taken from you to that place whither your minds have gone.
But if it works for y’all, so be it. Can’t argue with the results so far.
The iron’s siren beckons
Today, my will is stronger.
I. Shall. Recover.
Haiku.

I’ll tell ya, my rib muscles are super sore after those 1-Arm OHPs. Been a few months since I’ve done them. Most sets I’ve done at that weight, too. Shoulda put it down as a PR.
One of my wife’s friends told my wife that I was starting to look like the Hulk.
Girl needs glasses. I’m still trying to get as big as Bruce Banner in the first Hulk movie.
Or maybe it was my head size in relation to my body.
Hmm - it may not have been a compliment…
So I bought a 10 lb tub of mass-gaining stuff. Each serving is supposed to provide 800-1000 calories and 50 grams of protein. Out of respect to our forum provider I won’t mention the brand.
I’m aiming to get that 400 lb squat first.
Might have to buy bigger pants.

Needs must. I hope like anything that the ingredients list was accurate though. Can’t abide by sucralose at all…
Skid, I like the new avatar. I wonder how many took them up on it.
1 at least, as far as I’ve read.
