had a great week in thailand and got a bit of training in. I was going to try and go too thaiboxing gym but I was only there for a week and I couldnt be fucked in the end. The hotel had a pretty shitty gym but i did a bit there most mornings. Just pushups, pullups, situps, some stuff on cable machine.

did some conditioning stuff on the treadmill. it only went up to 9.9kmh so cranked the incline up to 10, and did
sets 0f 400m then 20 pushups x 4. I was puffed and sweating like a bastard after that in the heat.

Tuesday 6/2/12

terrible workout today. my right wrist felt a bit sore and when i started the bench it was killing me. so gave up pretty early on that. felt weak as piss and pretty deflated after it.

5x75kg, 5x85kg, 1x95kg - supposed to get 5 here.
tried 60kg and the wrist was still at me so gave up on the bench.

did some dips and push ups on the suspension handle things. much easier on the wrist. it seems to be only when its palm facing away that bothers me. neutral grip is fine. i did a shit load of push ups last week in thailand sop not sure if that has anything to do with it.

went around to the boxing gym to find everyone packing up to go home. didnt realise they closed early on a friday. had half an hour before they shut the doors so just did some weights. cant remember numbers or what did but it was something like

I gave the bench press another go today but my wrist was still sore so moved onto dumberll presses. Found them pretty good.

My right shoulder has been giving me a bit of jib for awhile. This workout made it a lot worse.

I am kinda lost with what training to do with a sore shoulder. just did a few pulling exercises today. As usual these workouts frustrated the shit out of me cause of my shit grip.

Just went for a light run this morning at 6am, 25 mins or so

Went away for the weekend. Just took it ease. was on the coast so took the dogs to the beach for long walks and bit of swimming.

Monday 26/3/12

5.30 am woke up early this morning so went for a run. i slept loads over the weekend so was full of energy this morning. went at a good pace for about 35mins. usually my morning runs are very light pace.

sholuder is still feeling off but thought id give the bench a go anyway. intended on keeping it light.

Its been a couple of weeks since I had an update here.

I had some family over from ireland for 2 weeks. Spent a few days up in Sydney and travelling around the place. Did feck all training, just eat nice food and drinking plenty. Had maybe 1 boxing session and a couple of light runs in between.

Sunday 15/4/12
my first day doing anything strenuos. Decided to go for a long run, managed 60 mins or there abouts. Had fish and chips fior lunch before this and it sat in my stomach like a hard ball of stodge and didnt feel too good.

Edit- had a word with the manager/promoter and sorted things out so it looks like i will be fighting in June

1 hr boxing. This was a normal session, not part of the fighter training. Good session all the same.
