Been having issue for quite some time now with my sweat smelling like ammonia about 15 mins into my workouts.
Key things:
-
I lift pretty heavy for reps usually 3-4 sets
12-15 warm up set, 12 reps (1st set), 10 reps (2nd set), 8 reps (3rd set) drop set right afterwards. This is just about on every exercise I do. Roughly 4-5 exercises per muscle group. -
I have low rest periods between sets and am pretty damn drenched in sweat early in workouts with the way I train. I like to keep it fast paced and quick.
-
I’m 233lbs, roughly 200 protein a day, I’m on the lower side of CARBS pretty much all the time except for my pre workout meal. I usually have 60-80 carbs before workout.
-I drink tons of water during the day and during workouts.
Should I up my Carb intake before workout?
Should I up my carb in take and time my preworkout meal better? maybe I’m eating my meal too early then working out or could it be I’m eating my meal too late and not digesting in enough time?
Should I change my workouts am I doing too much volume? I always recover fast, joints never hurt, and I’m growing and gaining strength. I love the way I workout ( heavy weights and fairly decent reps for the weight I’m moving around. This is the best way I grow and seems to work good for me.
