Amino Acids

since amino acids are the basic component of protien wouldnt it make sense just to skip out on buying Metabolic Drive and instead just supplement with bcaa’s and regualer food ?

My understanding it that Metabolic Drive is a slow release casein protein. So really it’s most beneficial at night when it slowly releases amino acides and digest for 6-9 hours.

Although I have no idea how long it takes BCAA to digest and such…I personally use cottage cheese and am finishing some muscle milk as my before bed meal. But I intend to try Metabolic Drive…

Does anyone know though if BCAAS pills or powder release as slow as casein?

BCAA’s are three essential amino acids and have their place for the serious athlete or bodybuilder wanting to boost endurance, fat loss, and muscle gain.

They aren’t the complete picture when it comes to nutrition. Metabolic Drive MRP is meant to be just that a meal replacement to substitute for one or two of the whole food meals in a standard six small healthy meals per day program. It contains a mix of proteins, carbs, and fats, and other nutrients.

I always say this to newbies go into the store and read the info articles on the supplements. That is going to give you the best understanding of the roles they play and will help you determine when a product would be a benefit to specific goals or when it should a staple in your diet for good health period.

Shoot me a PM if you have any further questions.

Free form aminos and dipeptides are alot faster then casein.

I dont use Metabolic Drive but anytime you can get your protein from whole foods instead of a supp, I say go for it. Too many people nowadays do the reverse. Its a supp, not a replacement. When on a bulk, I try to get 1.5-2 grams per lb bodyweight and its hard to get 500 some grams from whole food therefore I supp with powder. I take Liver Tabs for Aminos.
