I am for making stupidity illegal. I am convinced this would immediately eliminate rush hour traffic, Bill O’Reilly’s and Nancy Grace’s core audience, and whoever it is that keeps loading up the Hammer Strength machines with all of the tiny weights on the inside so I get the pleasure of removing fifteen 25lbs plates just to get the one 10lbs they graciously left on the machine.

I couldn’t give a shit who drinks alcohol, who smokes weed or who does HGh. I think that personal responsibility should be the anthem sung across the country before we elect anyone else into office.

I agree. Now what about functional training?

Welcome back, sir.

Why don’t we ban adolescent motor vehicle crashes, other traumatic injuries, suicide, date rape, and family and school problems?
I am pretty sure that suicide (in most states) and rape are already illegal.

12 year olds, just like the internet, never lies.

American tried prohibition, and I can assure you if it does it again, some sort of civil war will occur, or a radical government will overthrow our central power.

Dude, for a long time I’ve been convinced that this online persona of yours was created simply to get a rise out of people on this site (which is why I won’t be taking your entire post seriously).

But, in the event that I am wrong in that assumption, I think that, in your (typical) attempt to be argumentative, you missed the point of the original post.
no, i understood the post, i’m just adding gasoline to a slow burning fire.

Welcome back X. Nice to see you around again.

As for your post, I agree wholeheartedly. This country, and all countries really, are going downhill because of general stupidity and a lack of personal accountability. People shouldn’t need laws to stop them from screwing themselves up, they should need common sense.

So you’re away for almost six months and what draws you back to a bodybuilding website after a mysterious exit is a need to rant about alcohol? Call me confused.

I’m guessing that either you recently lost someone close to you due to alcohol, in which case you do have my sincere condolences, or you had a run-in yourself. In which case, sorry to hear about that too.

But I think you have to admit that especially after the spectacle of your Goodbye Wind thread, this is an equally vague way to re-appear. Didn’t want to just ease back with a post on someone’s training log or something? lol

Well, Mr. Spackler, I would say you are very much confused if you thought this was a rant against alcohol.

I am very worried if I have to start using those big assed Magic Markers and hand puppets to get a point across.

Haha, figured as much. No complaints here.

Oi, I love beer too. What we need to ban are children and their incessant playing.

HOLY BALLS

the bodybuilder who shall not be named returns!

P.S.I agree with your messange

C’mon…you can’t fix stupid. I’m living proof.

I do not take this post as bashing alcohol or anything other drug, but more bashing the hypocrisy and backwardness of the law. What gives alcohol the right to remain legal, since it is one of the leading causes of death in america; is it the fact that our lawmakers enjoy it themselves? or the fact that so many people do it that it would be impossible to outlaw it?

I dont think making alcohol illegal would fix anything, but thats not what this topic is really about; I believe it is more about letting people do whatever the fuck they want to do to themselves as long as it is not harming others. Maybe big brother’s hands which are around our necks need to loosen up a bit, or else be injected with an elephant tranquilizer.

Hippocrates was a Greek physician.

Maybe you should work on your communication skills. Call me crazy, but isn’t getting your idea across clearly the whole point of communication? If one person isn’t receiving your message clearly, you met someone who cannot communicate. If everyone is having trouble understanding you, you have the communication problem.

What is a hippocrate? It that some kind of hippopotamus stuck in a crate?

Maybe it would benefit you to drink this alcohol you speak of and chill out a little.

You don’t like the new one?

You sure know how to make an entrance.

Welcome back! And I wholeheartedly agree with your post.

Good Post Professor X. Welcome back.

Interesting. I can only hope your every post on this forum is free of all mistakes in spelling or grammar. I do believe if you did a search of my past posts, very rarely would you find a mistake in spelling. Can you say the same?

As far as the crap you wrote about communication, apparently most people understood the message just fine. That means I shouldn’t be writing anything for the few who can’t get it. In fact, that is pretty much the point of that entire post. Maybe we shouldn’t be catering all of society to the weakest among us. Maybe you should read slower.

I’m all for magic markers and puppets.

Did you get that I was joking when I pointed out the hippocrates thing? See my point? (The point being interpretation)

On a more serious note. You shouldn’t get all huffy when people don’t interpret what you wrote exactly the way you intended them to. You got a little too condescending towards the above poster for questioning you. This why I suggested that you chill out a little.

So was this an angry rant about catering to the weakest in the heard? (I definitely agree that we should not cater to the weakest and such.) So what was the point in incorporating this message in one that was masked as an anti-alcohol message?

And yes, it can be interpreted that way.
