I find it very disturbing that Sweden accommodated 70,000 Iraqi refugees while the USA (the ones who caused the carnage) accepted 202 of them in 2006.

Ben Laden and co, albeit a very serious threat, are a government’s wet dream. It makes government abuse and non-accountability easier to swallow. Many populations are complacent in the face of government’s abuse (privacy, freedom of press, arbitrary imprisonment, torture…) because of the possibility of a terrorist attack that may or may not happen.
The French are satirically saying that, thanks to Sarkozy’s speech to US Congress, Al-Qaeda will now start targeting them. I guess they are more wary of a Napoleon in the making than of some criminal act.
It is not only immigration that is changing the demographics in Europe. In Britain last year there were around 500,000 immigrants and approximately 250,000 emigrants.
Also there is going to be a massive reinforcement of the muslim invasion when Turkey becomes an EU member. With over ninety million people Turkey could easily overwhelm some of the smaller European nations and still have plenty of people to spare.
What I would be curious to see with Orion’s Danish demographic is how the falling birthrates of muslims is spread out. I doubt there has been an even across the board fall. I would wager that the more secular ones have seen a much greater reduction. While the Islamists who want to raise martyrs have kept the rate well above the 2.4 mark.

My View: The Europeans do need to crack down a tad on the crazy Muslims in their population, and ban religious thought from the governing process. However, the children of almost all Muslim immigrants WILL assimilate. You don’t go to a British school your entire life and end up the same as your parents who lived in Pakistan. As the generations go by, we will see the Muslim population of Europe die down and assimilate in to secular semi-religiousness that the rest of the continent and most of the more urban United States have fallen into.

I was referring to the post-invasion situation. Europe wasn’t responsible for turning the place into a hellhole, yet accommodated the fleeing ones.
The US did accept [u]202[/u] Iraqi refugees in 2006, and that is a fscking disgrace knowing they are the ones responsible for that situation.

They already have. I went to school with them. I went to university with them. I got drunk with them. I smoked weed with them. I buy my groceries from them. I eat their dodgy kebabs at 3am on a sunday morning.

I dont care about spreading Christianity in Saudia Arabia. The point is, we are a civilized country and we allow religious freedom and i’m a happy about that. What is happening between Christians and Muslims in Saudia Arabia is irrelevant imo. It’s their country, let them do what the hell they like. In our country, be whatever you want to be.
