Am I Set to Go?

Hey everyone

I am a 19 yo male who was put on TRT. My Total T is 220 and Free T is 12 with a reference range of 8-32. My doc prescribed me 250mg testosterone injections per week along with HCG injections to level off the testicular atrophy. I am really concerned because I have heard that once you go on TRT you won’t get off it and it can affect fertility. I still have the choice of whether to do TRT or not… any thoughts?

PS: When I go to , lets say, Lab X and they get me back my T blood test results with a reference range. Does that mean the average of people who tested their T at Lab X? Because the reference range of Free testosterone at my lab is much lower than other labs… I am confused

True… thats what I thought… still, I want an answer about the reference range on my lab results

Different labs different ranges. This is just how they are set up.

Don’t compare your levels with other labs
