TRT at 19 Yrs Old. Need Some Guidance

Hello guys/girls im looking for some advice on trt.

I am 19 years old (nearly 20) and have fairly low test.
For over a year I have been getting my levels checked because I felt something was wrong with me. Im always tired, my libido is low, and I can’t find the motivation to get up and go workout or play sports like I use to.

So about a year ago I got my bloodwork done and my endo told me I have test levels of 9.4nm/ol which is something like 270 ng/dl. Okay not so good. So, he put me on a cycle of clomid (2weeks), and then HCG 10000iu. After that I waited nearly 8 months to get my levels tested again because I wanted to give as much time as possible to see any changes. Nothing really changed. I went and got my levels tested again back 3 weeks ago and they came back at 9.9 which is 295 ng/dl. Since then I have a different doctor and he again put me on another cycle of HCG, but he suggested TRT before that, but I had to ask him if I could do some HCG before I make that decision. He said sure obviously. So I did another 10000 IUs and last pinned 4 days ago. No real change in how I feel, and im going to go get bloodwork done this monday. Im just asking for some guidance in regards to TRT. Im worried about starting this young, because I have heard a lot of rumours about infertility, ect, ect. I would appreciate some input on this matter. Thanks alot guy!

If your concern is fertility you can incorporate HCG together with your TRT protocol, usually 250iu -500iu 2-3 times a week or perhaps 250 EOD. You could take the HCG together with your T injections and take your AI at that time.

HCG mimics LH therefore doesn’t necessary activate all of the hormonal pathways quite like testosterone. Freeze some sperm before you start TRT and is a good idea because feeling like crap to remain fertile isn’t really a choice, is it? You could always come off TRT at a later date and start clomid to regain fertility if HCG and TRT doesn’t provide enough swimmers, then go back on TRT once the wife is pregnant.

Okay! That sounds good to me. Main concern obviously like you said is feeling better. Now in terms of the HCG and AI would combine I those will my TRT protocol indefinitely? I understand Im going to need further bloodtests to understand this better but theoretically you mean is as long as im on TRT im going to supplement AI and HCG?

Do you know what Bio-identical testosterone is? I’m still researching and learning more about, supposedly it’s testosterone that doesn’t completely shut down your own production but instead compliments it.

Also are you on TRT? Have you ever been on TRT? If so do you mind sharing your perspective?

I’ve been on TRT for a year but don’t use HCG as fertility isn’t a concern. Bio-identical testosterone is identical to the real deal, the body can’t tell the difference which is why there are no side effects if done by a skilled doctor. Any amount of bioidentical testosterone will shut you down, your pituitary gland is fooled into thinking the testicles are again producing testosterone when you start injecting testosterone.

My perspective is the majority of doctors out there are absolutely useless, most doctors have no idea how to properly administer TRT, it’s not just about injecting testosterone, it’s about knowing how often to inject and what dosage to target. It’s not just TRT, most get thyroid treatment wrong.

Most doctors are even aware of the correct labs to order or even know how to interpret them. If you want proper care you may need to go private and pay out of pocket. My doctors failed miserably, they failed to run enough tests and hypothyroidism could slipped by unnoticed.

I would rather pay for it out of pocket than work with an incompetent doctor. So many damn men come hear and start TRT with undiagnosed hypothyroidism and doctors keep insisting their levels look fine. If something is wrong with you your doctor should be able to find out why.

You have no idea the can of worms your about ready to open.

Lab tests needed.

I have decided to further go ahead with TRT. Now I know every protocol is very different from one another, but I would like to know if I can get a general reference. My doctor is a family doctor, and is confident enough to give me some help through my hormonal issues. Doc is optimistic and seems to want the best for my well being. So that being said im going to still get further blood tests to see what will be the most effective way of tackling my hormones.

I’m wondering what would be a a typical protocol. Im planing on taking some sort of ai and 100 ish test a week?
maybe start lower see how I feel.
HCG later on because ide also like to maintain fertility.
please let me know what you think
