Alpha's Work

The other guy’s right, you are a hard working sob. Doesn’t look like you’re puting down alot of calories. What weight are you trying to get to, and what did you weigh in your pic? Interesting log.[/quote]

Thanks a lot bro, like I said somethings wrong in my head-if I am doing something I only have two speeds…

Well In the pic I was getting ready for a fight and was around 215-220. I’m about 224 right now and don’t really know exactly what my goals are…

Just found out that I have and Tumor on My pituitary gland, so I can’t really fight anytime soon until all of that is cleared up and figured out…Normally I wouldn’t want to put on too much mass to make fight weight (185)- but now that that is not an issue I am not sure if I want to try and bulk up again.

I guess right now I just really like seeing what my body can take and the process of going through it all. I don’t really lift like a Power lifter but have decent numbers, don’t lift like a bodybuilder, but my build is ok, and I still train more like an athlete than anything, and now I guess i’m not even that—i just like to work my ass off (Intelligently) and see what I come out of the other end looking like and feeling like…

my aren’t you the popular one! have fun in Philly - if you’re not staying at the airport Marriott I’ll bet you can find a decent gym in the area - you can’t afford to take 3 days off from the weights you’ll shrink to nothing!

=its too bad-airport marriott is exactly where i am-and you’re right-I’m ALREADY shrinking!

Right on man. You’ve got a unique routine going, it’s intersting to check the log. I mean no disrespect, but you look much less than 220+. Be easy and good training.

oh I can verify his weight - that pic really doesn’t do him justice just makes his abs look good. we work together and occasionally work out together. his back/traps are thick and his legs/calves are like fucking tree trunks. he actually is around 225 these days. ok i’m done sounding like a flaming homo (love you Bri-Bri)

4.5 mile NEPA walk and at 6 pieces of Pappa John’s pepperoni and onion pizza-if God likes me, they will not serve anything other than this to me in Heaven EVER!

Alpha, I see you do some running in your weekly energy systems training. I do kettlebells/complexes once per week as well as some HIIT or steady state running. Do you find that running or complexes negatively effect your ability to train your legs or lead to excessive joint pain? Also, if you do a steady state run, what is the farthest distance you will go?

Well I never get too much joint pain but I am also taking at least 12 fish oil caps a day-so i am sure that helps me a TON-But I am not sure if the complexes and running impede My leg training. Honestly, since I train legs everyday they are kind of always in a state of Fatigue/ DOMS-I am sure I’d have a lot higher numbers if I actually let them rest-but it just never really feels as if I have really worked out unless I do legs intensely. I need to sweat when i work out and hitting my legs definitely does get that going.

Also when I did do just straight leg days I would often end up feeling so sick or actually end up puking that it would make me not want to do that day anymore.

And as far a distance, most of it is usually estimated. I try for time more than distance. Because most of the time I am doing interval sprints in those runs. But i’d say I usually never run more than 3-4 miles. More than that an my knees feel like they got raped.

Thanks for checking out the log though.

i think i saw an ab in the mirror the other day - and then i went to London. stupid apple pies! i’m doing much much better though you’d be proud. ok you can have your thread back.

03.12.09

Bad lighting so no shadows and I need a tan badly but this is to compare with later…

not really flexing my abs in this-I’ll try to get some better pics up soon

After looking at the pic I posted I am actually ashamed I put such a bad one up…Stupid Marriott Hotel lights! but at least it should make my comparison pics in a few weeks look like I changed more than I did…

I only have about 2 more weeks on this current program i am doing…anyone have suggestions on what to move to next?

I have some ideas but if anyone is really getting their ass kicked by something let me know because I’d like to try it out-

Thanks
