Kill it Alpha. You don’t need luck.
Saw the pics…go get 'em! May you have a wife, make her lucky while you look like this.
Remember that the ultimate victory in competition is derived from the inner satisfaction of knowing that you have done your best and that you have gotten the most out of what you had to give.
Good luck my friend though I doubt you need that. Go and give em all you’ve got! ð???ð??»
best of luck alpha!
Crush it.
Excellent reply about conditioning first, makes perfect sense.
I know you’ll give your all. Best wishes.
Thank you to everyone who wished me luck before I left for Iowa! I tried to keep people updated over on my twitter account https://twitter.com/NEVERsate and I do more updates daily there for those of you who want to check it out!
Well, I am back home now and am seem to be getting more and more sore by the hour. I had fun though! I ended up finishing 18 in the country, so that is not too bad for my second Nationals!
I was actually in 5th place after 2 events, then took a bad fall during the farmer’s but was still able to finish fast enough to stay in 7th by the end of day 1. Day 2 did not go very well. I was in the top half of the finishers for the rest of the events, but my place kept dropping. The waters are VERY DEEP at the National level and you can’t make mistakes if you want to be in the top 10. i missed an invite to the Arnold by just a few places, which was disappointing, but considering I finished 44the last year, 18th is a pretty good improvement!
i learned a lot and will be doing a full write up, hopefully tomorrow.
Like I said, I really appreciate all of the support you guys showed me going into this!
Here is the vid from the competition. It is pretty light hearted and you will hopefully find it entertaining! I know what i need to do to get better and have no doubt I will be right near the top next year.
Tomorrow is right back tot he grind because I only have 4 weeks until Maryland’s Strongest man. Hopefully i will be healed up by then!
Thanks again everyone! And It would help out a lot in my trying to get the eliteFTS sponsorship if you guys would subscribe to my youtube and like the videos if you enjoy them! Thank you all to have already done so!
Great job man. For being in the sport a short time, you’ve got plenty of improvements to look forward to.
That was an awesome showing Alpha. That fall looked brutal, but your recovery was spot on. Great work.
Congrats Alpha!!! Can’t wait for the full write up. That yolk walk looked super strong. Great improvement overall, eager to hear what you feel you need to improve upon. The video was really cool. Rest tonight, because as you say, “tomorrow, back to the grind.”.
Man. Awesome job! I literally watched your videos today just prior to deadlifting for motivation. Hope the healing is speedy and you kick ass at the strongest man

Alpha duuuuuuuuude! 18th in the nation!!! WOOT WOOT! Also side note, do you have an alibi for 3 hours after the meet? Those Farmer’s handles you used were found brutally destroyed and due to your own video evidence showing a visage full of of murderous intent you are now the prime suspect.
Great job and surely a fantastic experience. Everybody on here wishes they could do that.
You improved from 44th to 18th in 1 year…
And you started deadlifts and shit less than 10 years ago…
That’s amazing!
You learned alot I assume (and hope), maybe made some friends, and may have scored a sponsor, since you’re an awesome prospect!
I think this was a great thing to happen to you. No worries you became 18th, next year you’ll strip the 8.
Just to add to the voices,
Absolutely inspirational.
The recovery after that fall was one of the most impressive things I’ve seen in strongman, love the attitude.
Nice work and congrats on the improvement from last year.
Solid performance Alpha - congrats. I’m sorry I wasn’t on here to wish you luck beforehand, but I feel better about that now, because you clearly didn’t need me to.
44th to 18th in a year is pretty damned impressive. Continue at this rate and you’ll blow 'em all out of the water next year.
Kick ass performance man! Competing at the national level in a sport with only what, 2 years experience? Unreal. The Warrior Athlete system works…PR’d on Bench, Squat, Deadlift, and Overhead in the past couple weeks…while dropping weight…and working crazy OT…and Jiu Jitsu 1-2x a week. Missing the strongman implements! But still putting in work. Thanks for the continued inspiration, hope to come train again soon!
Vinny: Thanks man! i hope you are right!
Pwinsher: Thanks brother! I have definitely felt more pleasurable things in my life, but I am pretty durable at times!
BetaBill: Thanks boss, really, that means a lot. And i definitely did get right back at it today!
kleinhound: Thanks man, it means a lot that I can help to inspire! Hopefully MD’s Strongest Man goes well!
FarmerOwen: Thanks brother! Yea, i slammed them down pretty hard. i was pretty angry at that moment. Believe it or not, I get just about that angry after every missed attempt in the gym as well. I may not throw things, but the anger is always there.
biker: Wow man, that is a big statement! It means a lot, thank you brother!
Pano: Yea man, I hope you are right about stripping that 8 part! I am just trying to get better every day.
dagill: Thanks boss! I am glad you liked the attitude because the announcer came over the loud speaker after and said, “DON’t SLAM DOWN THE WEIGHTS!” Hahahaha
lift206: Thanks man!
WolfMan: Thanks man, I appreciate your support! And hope you are right! Things just get harder from here!
BJack: Thanks man, we miss you around the gym! I started Strongman last April sooooo I guess that I have been at it for 16 Months. Man, it feels much longer than that!!! And i appreciate the support for my programming! That is so amazing that you are doing so well! I am proud of you man!
