Alpha's Work 3

Good luck in the competition man! Crush it!!

Good luck at nationals man. You’ve put in all the work, now it’s just time to execute and compete.

Kill it in the nationals buddy!
Kill 'em all!!

Good luck, my friend! My buddy Justin Ford will be competing against you. I hope you both somehow win, haha.

All the best to you at Nationals! Looking forward to the videos.

Trivum: Nah man, I have an idea of how much protein I get every day but I don’t and have never counted macros.

EVERYONE ELSE:

Thank you all so much! I am stoked and will be even better once I get past the weigh ins! You all know I will do my best and we will see where the chips fall once it is all over. Thank you all for your continued support and for all of the confidence!

Celtic Warrior: I will start posting my food intake when I get back in town after Nationals…Thanks for asking buddy

How was the comp?
Any vids?

Hey everyone. Firstly, I truly want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all of your encouragement and support!

I ended up finishing right in the middle of my class at Nationals, which is very disappointing to me, but everyone there kept telling me that is is a great accomplishment considering it was my second show ever and my first time at Nationals.

I met some amazing people there, especially Snodgrass and his crew (he keeps a log on here). They made the event a ton of fun for me and literally taught me how to do half of the events right before I competed. They are some first class guys and I cannot thank them enough.

I always tell people that it is not “win or lose” but rather it is “win or learn” and learn i did. I now know what I am doing wrong and how to fix it. That is a greater win than any award. I am going to start training correctly for my next show.

I have vids of everything and will put them up along with my write up of the event soon. But right now I just have too much on my plate.

Thank you all again for your support and help with all of this!

Congratulations Alpha!

Dude - you made it to nationals! Having flown over the country a few times I can tell you that our nation is a fairly big place. Lots of people in it too. Then, after making it in to the competition (your second one ever), you learned how to do the moves correctly moments before the events. Then you had the audacity to only finish better than half your competitors.

We are all anxious for the vids and stories - when you have time. For now, rejoice in your accomplishment. And remember how many people that you are inspiring.

Cheers,
Needa

I am sorry you didn’t do as well as you like, but I do find it rather humorous that you were learning as you go, during a national competition. That’s pretty crazy right there. I’m very excited for the vids and write up, but take your time. As always, it’s incredible reading this log and quite an inspiration. Keep up the hard work!

Great job Alpha!

Capitan Needa: Thanks brother! I know what to do differently now and I can guarantee i will finish higher next year!

Roran: Thanks boss! Yea, I was walking around asking different people how to do things and EVERYONE was super helpful to me. Even if they were super focused on what they were about to do, they wold stop and take the time to genuinely help me out. Strongman athletes are like no other people I have had the honor of working with. If everyone was a selfless as these guys the world would be a much better place. Especially to Snodgrass and his crew. They helped me more than anyone and kept things very light for me.

MattyG35: Thanks man! That means a lot!

  • i stopped at little early on the paused Bench because I was running out of time. But 425 went up smooth
