Alpha's Work 3

I can see why some people don’t like you, but for my sake and there’s, I hope you keep posting anyway. Everytime I read one of these, part of me feels angry and hateful, but at myself. I’ve wasted so much of my time doing things I don’t even remember or care about anymore, missed so many opportunities to do things that would have had an impact and I missed them because I was lazy.

To be reminded of that can hurt, but I would rather constantly be pushed and driven rather than sit back, forget, and die with regrets.
It reminds me of what Chris Shugart said awhile back: “Action offends the inactive.” I believe that those who get mad at your posts are those that understand where they have messed up and are too scared or too lazy to get up and fight. I hope when people read these, they not just realize that life is precious but get up and take action.

Keep writing Alpha, you’re an inspiration.

Can’t seem to put into words at this moment what your manifesto of a training log has done for me. Just a good old thank you.

Thank you!

long time lurker, very awesome rant. We want details on the new gym and site!

PS. I would like to do warrior athlete workouts in the future, will these be up for years to come or should I print them out?

lift and eat: That something i wrote would make you remember your mother honors me. It really does. from what you have written, I know you will make the best choice. I am so happy that you are part of this log.

Roran: Love me or hate me, at least they received the message i was trying to send. Thanks you so much for what you said.

Strongmanvinny: The fact that it is helped you makes it all worth it…seriously brother, thanks for what you said.

Tim: thanks for what you wrote brother and I guess there is no time better than now to release the website…it is NEVERsate.com, I release a workout of the day there, try to do a tip of the week and try to write at least 1 article every few weeks. I adore T-Nation but am trying to do my own thing over there.there will be Warrior Athlete workout until I no longer feel like posting them…

Alpha, just wanted to stop in and let you know I used some “What Would Alpha Do?” motivation today. When my workout was getting really tough, I remembered your quote “Lift more often than you want to, lift heavier than you want to, run longer and harder than you want to, do more reps when you REALLY don’t want to,” and kept pushing through it.

Thanks for all you do here.

Great site man, that is another one added to my favourites. Training is looking strong as ever even despite the shock of seeing 8 rep sets. The volume you do is crazy!

Hope you keep posting here as well. Your advice and workouts are invaluable and have certainly helped me get back on track.

The site looks great! Very clean and easy to follow. Thanks for all the work you do and the help.
Just curious, but are you in on this alone or do you have friends/colleagues?

Im digging the new site! getting a tshirt too!

Ordered my shirt and shot you an e-mail. Time was an incredible read, printed it out and posted it up at the gym for our athletes.

Well, I guess, I’m late to the party here. I don’t know if it’s still ok to say “welcome back Alpha” since it’s been so long already. Anyways, it’s great to hear from you brother. You seem to continue to be awesome, though I wouldn’t have expected any less of you.

I remember you being in a relationship during Alpha’s work 1 & 2. Question is, are you gyus married already or have things changed (if this is too personal information to share, I get it)?

I still like reading these reality checks from you. Keep then coming.

Stay safe!

g

T-shirt ordered!

Are you no longer trying to keep the site under raps Alpha?

Thanks Everyone! It means a lot to get so much possitive feedback!

Oh dang I just noticed the site, awesome! I was looking forward to that ever since you mentioned it a while back. Definitely gonna grab a shirt.

Just dig in your site 2 hours or so, great stuff!
Is the shirt’s shipping worldwide? Just wondering…

Yeh new site looks great, now I’ll need to find more reading hours in my day! Yeh what will the postage be like for shipping T’s to UK?

Sorry everyone, things have been insane ever since I started the new site and working on the building and such…But don’t worry, I will be back to posting everyday now that I am caught back up! Thanks again for all of the support!

Csulli: Thanks so much man! That means a lot! And I have been doing a lot of shirt packing up and shipping!

Regev: Thanks brother! Yea man, I am working on that as we speak. I should have an answer about that tomorrow.

Lift and Eat: Like I said, I am working on the shipping issue as we speak, but right now you can just support the business by reading man! Thanks so much brother!

Of course unless staying true to yourself means bombing other people because their beliefs don’t match yours…

I am only half-kidding. I believed that “staying true to yourself and your beliefs” was important too until I actually thought about the implications seriously.

Apologies to Alpha. My only post in this thread thus far happens to be something not related to the thread.

As others have mentioned, your work-ethic and sheer physical ability is fucking awe-inspiring, to say the least.

Just wanted to stop in and address some questions that I haven’t answered yet…

markws: Thanks so much for the kind words man! and No, T-Nat is my home. I’m not going anywhere anytime soon. Feel free to ask me any question here or there, it will get answered either way! Thanks for stopping in man!

Lifting Strumpet: Thank you so much for saying that, I love when something I said may have made someone work a little bit harder and push a little bit further than they thought they could! Thanks for posting in my log!

Iron Warrior: Thanks so much man! And I am honored by what you said! Thanks for stopping by man!

Roran: Thanks Brother! And thanks for all that you have posted in my log and the questions! Well NEVERsate is my brain child. I built the website (I am still learning a ton about how to work with it, that is why it doesn’t look as professional as a lot of other sites) and do all of the writing and programming. I have a couple of other friends and partners involved that have other expertise in areas that I don’t but it is 99% mine.

MattyXL: Thanks so much for stopping in man and for what you said! And Thanks for Buying a T-Shirt!

Paul215: Thanks man! I shot you an email back yesterday, and I think it is awesome that you printed out that rant and posted it at your gym!

Guhkes: Hey man! Great to hear from you, I was wondering how you have been doing! Thanks for all of the kind words! Well I am already putting myself out there pretty far with the website stuff and in order to keep those around me as safe as possible, I am trying not to post too much of my personal relationship life out of this log. Sorry brother, I hope you understand. But don’t be a stranger! It is great to hear from you again, my friend!

usmccds: Thanks for buying a T-Shirt brother! I sent it out…Dude, seeing your address, you are only going to be like 10 minutes from where the gym is located! You better be a regular there! And no man, the site is out there so tell everyone you know!

Magick: No worries at all man, I am glad that the log has started discussions like this. It is great to get as many perspectives as possible so that we can all grow as people from learning from each other!

=============================================================
Ok, I think that is it. I don’t think i missed any questions!

T-shirts outside of the US…I am still trying to figure that out because I didn’t realize how much it was going to cost to ship these things even domestically! That said, I may have to add shipping and handling to the price stated on the site just so that I don’t have to lose money on them…So if you are in the US and want a shirt, I’d order it soon than later before the price goes up. If you are not located in the US and want one, standby…I’ll figure that out soon but please don’t place your order just yet…Please be patient, I am working on a pretty big learning curve here and don’t want to disappoint anyone…Sorry guys!

If you really want to support the site though, just tell people about it or send them here! Thanks so much for all you guys are doing to support this venture. T-Nation has been my home forever now and it will stay that way! -dieEMPTY-
