I have been making all sort of various things with the AP. I love the stuff, but was taking so much of it i need to find a better way so i wouldn’t get bored witht the shakes. So after much wasted protein and a low level explosion I mastered the the mixer. Hear is a great recipe or some outstanding pudding like substance or gruel, whatever you want to call it. You will need one a conventional hand blender or if you are lucky like me your fiance has a big manly big block V8 KitchenAide mixer. Both will work fine. as long as you have a stainless steele, or plastic bowl to go with it.
Ingredients:
1c Cooked oatmeal,
1 banana,
2 tbl spoons(or more)of natural peanut butter,
2 Scoops of Milk Chocalate AP,
1/4c Water.
Start with the oatmeal in the mixer, you will need to add a little water to get it going good, about 1/4c. Then add the water, then the AP, then the banana, then the peanut butter. Do not add the peanut butter first-trust me on this one! Use your mixer and let it run until its pretty smooth and consistent. Then cover bowl and let chill for about an hour or two. Be sure to lick the mixer blades, don’t waste any AP. After it get firm in the fridge you can get about two snacks, meals out of it. I normally double all the ingredients so I can make a double batch and leave it in the fridge - this stuff keeps really well and travels well to. i have a batch in my office frig right now. I think this recipe will help keep my calories and protein up while doing the Part 2 of the Growth Surge program. Hope yall like it.
