Glad you’re feeling well man.
Am with you about IM.
I think there’s something to levels stabilizing when injecting a dose in acceptable dosage ranges. In other words e2 should stabilize to your body’s level weather you inject 90 or 110. But key is to try and stick to 1 dosage where you feel good.
Am lowering mine to 90 from 100 for belly water retention. I don’t think it’s e2 though. If it doesn’t do it am going back to 100-105 where I know am at top of free t.
Funny thing is I lowered dose yesterday to 44 mg. And ya know i got the erection that’s takes its time to go down after am done.
Glad u feel good
Thanks man, its good to know I don’t have to worry about my Prostate, that was my biggest concern really.
Hows the DHEA going? Have you retested anything bro?
Btw do you know what subq v im did to your e2?
SUB Q 90 MG a week had my e2 at 32
100 IM put me at like 46+
No tests recently. I have an Endo follow up in a few months and my just keep @ 70mg x 2 a week until then. Im feeling great and right now TRT is everything its supposed to be for me.
Im taking pregnenalone and it has seemed to help the tiredness. I had a few days of anxiety a few weeks ago. I was ruminating about shit. Physio said to up nightly magnesium from 400 to 600 and it was just gone the next day and never came back.
I get this every now and then. But I have anxiety issues. Magnesium and Boron are on my “to add” list.
I just started taking 1000iu of Vitamin D twice a week , to see what happens. I am low on D for sure.
I also use to take magnesium but have shelved it for now due to my E2 issues.
Ill probably add Boron first, then magnesium once I check my bloods on twice a week Vitamin D.
So ridiculous that I have to take such a small amount.
Edit are you still taking boron also? Dose?
Yeah…I had the anxiety shit too, for years, and thought it was just low T but it went further than that. Magnesium has me fucking chill man. I am still taking the boron @ 3mg a day.
Hey @anon10035199 - what happened to the staggered dosing you were experimenting with previously? I was reading about the staggered dosing @physioLojik recommended in his thread awhile back and was thinking of trying this myself.
I inject E4D at the moment, and I get 4 injections out of a vial so I was thinking of doing something like 4 injections (1 vial) @ 48mg and then switching it up on the next vial to 4 injections of 54mg. This would average 90mg/week (which seems to be about the right dose for me on an E4D schedule) and result in a change every 16 days.
Thoughts anyone? Is 48mg & 54mg enough variance? Or should I vary things even more (i.e. 46mg & 56mg) to achieve the same 90mg average dose?
Is every 16 days a good time to switch it up when I open a new vial? Alternatively, I could switch it up with each injection, alternating between the 2 doses (i.e. inject 48mg into my left quad and 54mg into my right quad with the next injection - it would be easy to keep track of the correct dosage on injection day this way since I could always tie a specific dosage to my left and right quads).
Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts on this. @physioLojik ?
Every so often I would just inject a higher or lower amount. So right now I’m at 120 a week, I might inject 100 one week and then go back up to 120 the next. Or one injection is a larger amount and the other smaller. It was basically just about breaking up that homeostasis of same shot every time.
Got results from labs today.
Protocol is:
115-120 Test a week IM , 2 shots
No AI
No HCG
Changed from 90 mg sub Q.
The only one I am really concerned about was my free test. I asked her not to test total test because of the ranges, I didn’t want there to be any issues.
E2 30 <40
Usually my e2 on IM has been in the 46+ range, but I have been drinking BANG energy drinks for about a month and a half or so, and I know this is why its lower. Caffeine lowers estradiol. Also has some b12 in it that cant help me.
SHBG 42 10-50
Free Testosterone: 141.7 46.0-224.0
Free Test on old protocol (Sub Q)- 91.0
Free Test PRE TRT- 45.0
So I have tripled my free test since starting TRT
So I got a decent bump in my Free test level.
Currently this is the most test I can get my hands on if I want to keep getting it through this provider.
It looks like I could bumb up still and be ok. Might be something I look at in the future.
Right now I feel great, workouts are great. Libido is good. Gaining muscle.
No complaints. Other than wanting to get my free test up a little bit. But this was on trough, so I feel pretty good about it.
@NH_Watts @charlie12 @systemlord
Or anyone else that wants to comment.
Everything else was normal, looked good, not worth noting.
It could be your levels peaking high, you get smaller peaks on more frequent doing, just saying.
Lowering the dosage or changing shot frequency should do the trick. If you want higher Free T at trough, increase shot frequency.
Not having symptoms now.
Actually I forgot to post up my E2 number.
It was 30… Really low for me. Should be in the 46+ range on this amount of test and IM, but I have been drinking caffeine EVERYDAY for about a month, and I know that’s what has lowered it.
I am lucky enough to be able to use vitamin D to lower my e2 if it get a little high.
I don’t understand how this would work though? Just bringing up your trough? Im interested though.
If you’re bring up your trough numbers, than this means levels are higher all of the time. You’ll have higher trough numbers on the same mgs, less decline in levels between injections.
Higher troughs by lowering your peaks, I guess? I might try this, but sticking myself 3 times a week instead of 1 isn’t exactly appealing.
Might start sticking my traps or lats actually. Anyone use these spots? lol
Well it may not be your levels that are causing these symptoms, but the swings in levels. I experienced this on twice weekly, less noticeable on EOD, but very smooth on daily. I don’t think it’s all about SHBG levels, but sensitivity to fluctuations.
If you were able to see men’s individual hormone profile, I’ll bet everyone is different, some have big fluctuations and others less. So if you are one of those men who has less fluctuations naturally than you do on TRT, then you could in theory have symptoms.
Maybe it’s just the caffeine or caffeine crash.
Again, no symptoms right now. Just concerned with the semi mediocre free test level.
I have my estrogen control, or lack thereof, squared away for the most part.
U are above midpoint with free t. I would not sweat it. You feel very good it sounds like.
I would not change anything and if you are concerned repeat the free t again.
It is possible though that doing the 115 on subq May get your free t higher. But I would wait and keep things the way they are.
Definitely not bro! Remember I react poorly to Sub Q. IM has gotten me where I want to be.
Your right, I am “zeroed” I feel good and its a good level. Nothing to complain about. Makin good gains and so forth.
I may just play with my dose now to see if my body likes it a little higher, but for “TRT” yea, this is good enough.
