Millions of idiots west of the Mississippi and in the South, I reckon. Good thing we “idiots” are comfortable not being dandies and wouldn’t get caught dead wearing a fucking “Tom.”
No one walks very far in them. Walk several miles in riding boots; even boots with a low heel, and your feet will start to hurt. In spite of the fact that lots of people wear them around the traps they’re not suitable for walking in.

No let’s. Whoever can go the longest without talking about it wins. You go first.

Not necessarily so. The combat boot is made for long treks.
I’d venture to say your Tom would never hold up on real terrain for very long without discomfort.

Combat boots are designed for harsh terrains and climates. You need them for protection and the downside is when you have to march long distances your feet get covered in blisters.

No really? Fortunately I only have to wear them to and from the car park and the shops. They’re super comfortable in an urban environment and unlike thongs(flip flops) and sandals you can look good in them. I’ve got into places with strict dress codes wearing them.

I’m proud to be one of those “idiots” - They are cowboy boots and I walk in them just fine - they are pretty comfortable - like an old pair of sneakers. Those “toms” look like a gay uni-sex version of the shoes they gave me in the county jail.

Get some that fit & break them in

Some of us avoid urban enviroments, shops, and places with strict dress codes. We prefer having some room and trees. We don’t wear “fawn” color pants. We let a fawn grow up a couple of years then we eat it

Some of us can and do function in both environments.

I get the appeal of both. Personally I’d rather live rural (although the wife would never do Push Rural) and visit/work in Urban. But having grown up more rural and gone to school and now work in urban (read get paid city wages) I see the advantages of both.

Huh? You can get blisters walking a long distance in a pair of Nike’s… I’ve marched 15+ miles in combat boots with zero issue.

Fucking Toms…

What the hell is going on around here?

Was not a mommy’s boy. I’ve been working since I was 15. As soon as I finished school I went overseas and moved out when I came back. I moved back in for a couple of months a few years ago to take care of her in the final stages of her cancer. As I said, you guys are drawing an odd conclusion from what I said about her intelligence. I inherited whatever extra grey matter I have from her side of the family. That was part of my point.

Outside my family I haven’t come across too many very smart women. Even the high achievers like my neighbour who scored 99 on her HSC and is now an in house lawyer for a major corporation is thick as shit when it comes to stuff like lateral thinking, original thought, imagination and wisdom. She’s basically successful because she worked her arse off but it’s just rote learning. At a guess I’d say her IQ is maybe 115 or so. Met a couple of clever ladies at university but they were extremely plain and socially awkward and so on.
Seriously? This is your idea of a high value woman? While coincidentally you A) wonder if a “drivethru [sic] chick” is impossible to impress, and B) find women strangely unintelligent and disappointing? I hate to tell you, Stud, but this girl had high hopes of modeling high-end clothes and makeup, but wasn’t pretty enough or intelligent enough to make it and so settled for pimping down-market lingerie while wearing poorly-applied cosmetics. Is she genuinely pretty and the trashy makeup covers that? Maybe. Or possibly she’s not that attractive and the makeup compensates, who knows.

Either way, she is not what most discerning people would consider “high value,” unless they are looking for a one night stand. (Lovely young woman though she may be.)

Ha I feel like this poor chick is going to happen on this website one day and be like “how the hell did I get dragged into this?” But your premise is correct in the sense that the woman above does not have the appearance of what one would refer to as a high value woman, which is a strange nomenclature in itself, about like this Beta/Alpha stuff.

How the fuck did this stupid topic get to 14 pages?

Don’t like her face all that much but her body is nice. I didn’t really dwell on it for more than 2 seconds. I just needed a comparison picture.

12 of those pages are about a pair of shoes I wore last Thursday. More to come I’m sure.

I had misgivings about posting it, because you’re right. I am trying to bear in mind that when you model that outfit privacy and tact are not your primary guiding values.

Okay, try marching fifteen miles in riding boots and get back to me. They’re not the same. And Nikes are going to be way gentler on your feet than combat boots. My point stands.

Back on topic, this is what the sexiest man I know likes to wear.

Edit: looking at it, his stuff is actually a little rugged-er. Because he’s actually doing stuff in it.
