Anyone else see this movie?
I thought it was half decent. There were a bunch of funny parts, a bunch of badass parts, and a bunch of parts where I was embarrassed at their half assed attempts to try to be badass.
Not a great movie, but entertaining to say the least.
Haven’t seen it, but I’m told it’s made up of many parts.
Its too drawn out. had it been 1/2 hour shorter it would have been much better also, the kidnapee’s brother needed more screen time. He was fantastic. JT wasn’t bad considering the role. He’s getting ridiculously good reviews for Black Snake Moan. Looks like he may have a second career on his hands.
At first when I saw a poster with Justin Timberlake on it I thought “Well, looks like you add in a few tattoos and that’s all you need to be a badass.”
Just from the fact that nancy-boy Justin Timberlake is in it, I really didn’t think that I would want to go see it, but then again, it did get “decent” reviews. So it’s a viable option.
And it has Bruce Willis in it. I think Bruce Willis is just really badass.

The only thing I hate worse than cheap punk wannabe criminals are movies about em’!..and quit denigratin’ my handle, PGA/

Yes, Bruce is badass, but he had a minor role in it. And PGA, I’d agree with you about the brother, but, well, I just cant bring myself to stoop that low.

It’s a bit off topic, but I was impressed by Leonardo Dicaprio in The Departed and I was even kind of sad that he died in the end…and trust me, he is one of those actors where I usually prayed for a slow painful death everytime I see them in a movie…
Well, JT is still on that list, but things may change and I haven’t seen AlphaDog yet.
Yeah, I don’t think I ever saw a Departed thread on this forum.
I always thought Leonardo DiCaprio was a nancy-boy fudgepacker, but after the Departed, he totally put the faith of Jeebus in me.
I especially love that part when he takes out those two guys from Providence inside of “Babu’s” shop.
