And this is to be praised? Is this how we should communicate with other members of the human race face-to-face? Holy fucking shit, stop the presses. Society and the rule of law got it all wrong.

Uh, ignore him? And if the threat is real, call the authorities?
Now, if you say something really idiotic and deserving of a beatdown, by all means, let the punches begin. I believe people should act intelligently in real life. And on the internet, people should be free to say whatever they want… provided they have the balls to back it up.
So if I say something that makes someone legitimately want to fuck me up, then it is my fault… just as it would be my fault to get stomped in real life for saying something inappropriate.
In other words, don’t be stupid in real life, and don’t be stupid in the internet (in addition to have the balls to back up whatever you post.)

There really isn’t much of a difference[/quote]
Yes there is. In real life you conduct yourself in a manner that is appropriate. In the internet, you get the chance to talk your mind off… and if you are fucking stupid, you get other people to call you on it.
And that is the beauty of the internet. You can go on in real life being a retarded idiot with the social skills of a cactus and nobody will ever call you on it the way you might need to be called on.
Enter the internet and you might get verbally stomped. And then, if there is any hope for you, a light bulb might go off inside your cranium making you go “fuck, I’m really a fucking idiot. I must change!”.
Well, you live in a very weird society if you believe what most posters do here online is no different from what QueerX did in person…
… which he didn’t. He’s a fag and he makes shit up to get attention since Uncle Bob poked his pooper in Sunday school.
