Ok, well I gotta a little problem. I’m severly allergic to all milk products and eggs, which pretty much knocks all protein supps out the window except for soy, and I know how ya’ll feel about soy! I work a lot and barely can get in three meals a day. Does anyond know of another source of protein that I could possibly eat in a rush? I’m so sick of tuna, please, for my sanity, help a brudda out!
Dr. Berardi in his new cook book
states.
“Rice protein extracts ar a great hypoallergenic alternative to milk and soy proteins. Some rice protein on the market have been fortified with the limiting amino acids and can be a good
choice.”
Try to shop around at health food stores
in your area…
Hope that helps.
You could try hemp seed protein instead of soy. It is a complete protein and probably wouldn’t cause an allergic reaction.
Egg protein powder? Or is that considered dairy?
I believe egg protein has a high bioavailability and would probably be a good alternative.
Egg protein is no go as well. Damn these food allergies!
Buy one of those jerky makers and keep stockpiles of chicken, turkey, beef and whatever else you can get your hands on? There was a discussion on jerky just a few days ago.
I saw pea protein the other day at Whole Foods…I have no idea though.

vroom, as Prof. X would say: Wax On!
Because of the “Meat Stick” thread your talking about, I went out and got a dehydrater. My jerky will be much better protein wise than any MRP bar out there and just as convenient. Lit-faced this is a great option!

I believe it was t-member, proteinpowda, that indicated pea protein was a complete protein with nearly the same great properties as whey
