My legs got a lot more sore. That first switch up back to leg press etc OUCH! I had to tell the hub to push me as i was getting up from a booth at dinner, sad but true. Even glutamine couldnt help a girl out haha I Feel good today, still a bit sore but a normal sore.

Glad your legs are better today! On a good note the second time through that workout isn’t nearly as brutal as the first, just get a normal sore…lol. Keep working hard!
squat 45/3 65/5 80/3 1003x5 ----> but missed depth barely on 2 to 3 of 5 just enough to piss me off. Still felt it though thats for sure

Glad you put a vid of your BSS. I wondered if you’re supposed to touch your knee to the floor. Think I’m definitely doing them right. I’ll catch up to you in DBs. Don’t you worry. Do you ever find you cheat a bit by pushing with the foot on the bench?
I think we have similar training “likes”, and I know you got G to advise you (and prob tell you not to listen to me, haha), but some more stuff to put in your toolkit that’s super fun are BB jump squats, which will burn up those quads, as well as BSS jumps, which are killer!
Haven’t done pull throughs in ages - I should add those in! Thanks for the reminder!

i do them a couple different ways, the closer stance knee touch or skim I feel really works my abductors the most and glutes. Considering those two are growing at a decent rate, I was really feeling this stance with the fron t weight and slight lean. No I definitely was trying not to grind up with back leg cause again i feel it in upper thigh…the first set i did i layed foot toe side down but honestly they are both slightly awkward for me.
Ha ha on catching up, you probably will. The work load before with the DB jump squats in between squats did me in! Ive done 30s no problem for these squats but have a hard time holding so use straps pretty quick. Sorry this is long. Catch me if you can the more the merrier.

Mashy YES the BSS jumps do burn, havnt done them in forever either, stop giving G ideas for torture! I havent been doing the cardio/complex stuff that long, its a killer. Im going to use my weight tree next time for the pull through, I felt like it was a tuff pull but would have liked the band lower to be able to really get it pulled up.
Not to mention my quads were a little sore still this am, next week will be a new playing field.
Up, heavy pull thrus I would put a plate behind my feet to anchor them so I don’t lose my balance. Jump squats…oh my legs burn just thinking about them.

My mantra for today is Keep moving… amazes me i just changed like one thing, im never really that sore after my normal leg routine, really just from some db jump squats? ok 72 of em but still…

Trail rides = new love ESP HILLS, well not when Im in beginning or middle of said hill but when i get to the top, feels so good to have survived. Not sure if spinning helps with biking or biking helps with spinning, either way they both are brutal. The difference is the trail rides i choose my punishment/pleasure.
SO sat me the hub and 14 yr old went for about an hour, just one major hill near the end. Sat about 40 min, many hills, felt like i was going in reverse, so lots to improve on!!! The burn is C_R_A_Z_Y
