HAHAH! I’m sorry! Its just a figure of speech, i swear. You’re doing awesome! its my way of gentle encouragement

Anyways, I saw you in Lex’s log and I was reminded of how you liked doing the cleans. I think you’ll really like Oly. When you’re ready you should learn a bit more, like push pressing or front squat push presses. They’re so much fun! And they make great additions to complexes and stuff. Not that you need to get tighter (bitch!), but its always good to have in your arsenal in case you want to switch things up.

And the new avi does look good! Booty is popping![/quote]

Ha I know, no worries. I just know me and If I think hmmm do I have more, I start driving even harder. So really its probably good to hear!

Yea I am going over some more Oly stuff coming up, braking it down, and using it like your saying complexes/conditioning.It is a riot, but Im like A.D.D on it, I cant seem to stop, one more is mumbled many times.

Girl…I aint gettin any younger, so keeping my lil self somewhat tight so I can dial it in pretty easy is up on priority list, right after shut up and do it!

Yes Cav I think its kinda cool too

Damutt Im actually looking at myself lately noticing my physique changing, its coming together! Thanks so much.

Lil Power YES that was very exciting for me, thanks! I have an Iphone so as its playing i snap the pic for the still. You have got to be beyond ready to tear it up!

today was work thats for sure …thanks for the feedback

Nice work going on in here.

How are you liking the home gym compared to the commercial one?

Discovered any negatives about it yet?

Im going to make an attempt to get more conditioning in. I may even get more ab work in.

Im sure I had a few of these wrong, but I got a decent heart pumping wo in. I am out of shape as far as conditioning/cardio work is concerned. WAY OUTA. Almost embarrassingly so…

started with - dont have a KB yet so used DBS

double clean and military press
doub.bent over row
Turkish get up ----> whoa these are brutal
double front squat
Double swing
all for 6 reps 2x through

alternating renegade row —> tried to keep body stable on the pull 6 reps each side
turkish get up 3 reps each side —>what do u know still killers ha
one arm KB swing 5 reps each side
double db clean and push press 7 reps
one arm wind mill 5 reps each side
hand to hand db swing 12 reps each side

ended with a round of abs with db

around the world x10
wood chopx10
squat to press x 10
v-ups x20
med ball toe touch x 10 —> tough after Vups
45 degree russion twist x10
hanging knee ups - no weight

a few I wasnt sure what they were so I left them out, Ill add moves in as I find out how to do
them.

Need to work on speed once i have the moves down, for now just tried to not fling dbs.

Hope your back fat tweek (hehe-JK) is feeling better havent gotten to your log to check.

Yea the negatives are- nobody can kick me out at 8, dont have all the cool toys i want(and most are super pricey)…etc etc but for the most part i like it, miss a few “machines” but over all its good. Besides for what? $10 I can go get a thrill at the commercial so it will remind me why I love to train at home. I think it also helps Im “self motivated” …well yea except for cardio/conditioning/abzzz haha

Excellent progress.

Truly excellent.

2)alternating renegade row, 6 reps each side
3)turkish get up 3 reps each side
4)one arm front squat 8 reps each side

  2. one arm kb swing 15 reps each side

  3. double kb clean and push press 7 reps
2)double kb bent over row 8 reps
3)one arm windmill 5 reps each side
4)double kb front squat 5 reps
5)hand to hand kb swing 12 reps each side

let me know if you you KB or DBs I can check your time/sets #s to see just how suck I am haha

Hey Up, great job getting the condo in! I really think your going to like how your lift rotation is going to be laid out and will give your opportunity to recover from weight days and also give you OPPORTUNITIES to get in the circuits. Your going to have fun with them, there not engraved in stone and there is a lot of variety!

training today

warm up

Front squat 45/5 655 80/3 90/2 95/2 100/1 105/1 110/1 fail missed depth, tried again missed again although looked a bit better. still a pr

DEADS

115/5 135/3 155/1 175/1 195/1 pr+10 belt, 205/1 pr+20 215/1 pr+30 225/1 PR+40

I didnt need to go for it on front squat would have saved more for deads, but I had a bug up my ass to do it.

Deads and the belt, I like the belt to hold tight in and press my belly in it, but wish i could wear it really low, will find a belt that can do this.

Anyway at 195 G was saying go to 205…really? ok done then when he said you have 215 I got a little scared lol he says what? afraid Im a bit afraid…then did it!
Then he says oh youve got to do 2 plates now…wish I could i only have one 45 lol so i stacked on more little plates to get my 225 and did it! Hope i got the right vids was a long day!!

front squat 105

215 dead

225

Wow!

Great form!

Your great vids…

Seeing your delts just pop on the deads, exactly where I’m sore (ok, hurt pretty bad) from deads… Never understood it…

Thanks!

G yea I think they will be good, although finding the right weight of iron is going to be key.I suppose if Im looking just to pump that thing in my chest Id go lighter and if I want to feel it the next day(like i do) a bit heavier.

I must stick with it! I was a bit wound up in my head last night so Ill admit to doing just a very little something: bench press with that slight incline (ugh) bar think I got caught up in a song so many reps, tried the pause and explode thing (can you say fun!) then a real incline with bar first then just the 20s did some slow grinders, and just some real pretty smooth reps, usually 8 ish. Feeling just a nice “tight” feeling from lower belly up. Im chomping at the bit, to not train legs.Maybe something very light?

NULL hey there! So are you saying you always feel like you worked your delts after deads? Ill have to pay attention, never really thought about it, and or remember feeling it. I guess the moment of the “pop” Im just thinking about the judges hand going up when i see lifters go back and hold haha

Yep. They look painful. And I usually try to avoid pain.

Burn mostly, this would be one that i talk about having an out of body experience with.
the 6 count to lower ones left me speechless first time I did them or maybe it was the hold at the bottom for 6-0 forget both kill.

Just sent ya something…have fun lol!

yesterday

step ups 3x12 alt legs

slbulg sq back leg/bench 3x12 each

walk lunge most were no touch 3x30 (havent hit 90 reps in a long time)

sldl 4x12

kept it light 10s and even though there was supposed to be no rest for each set, my lungs said forget that. I am working on it. The new week my rests will be shorter.

Even with low weight the burn was amazing —> and by amazing I mean holy shit! Today have just a light soreness to let me know I kept moving.

abs later.

feel the BURN!!!

Great training Upscale. Love the new avatar. Classic basement gym. Pipe going out to the septic tank. Just like my gym.

Mim my abductors love to hate the single leg work. With everything involved - how far out to lunge, split squat, stabilize i feel like all the little muscles are just having a fit, not to mention you have to be so focused. Doing them at the commercial was crazy good for that because of all the idiots that would walk between the benches and brush up against me. I was tempted a couple times to accidentally drop a 30 #er on their foot.

eco yea not the “prettiest” sight but gets the job done.Ill have to figure out something more stable down there to hook my bands threw when doing leg curls, I move the whole rack when I tried hooking it there…and the stair railing is solid down there so cant use that…ideas are welcome.
vids too.

Soooo my core was still feeling tight so decided a run was in order.

The trails are so gorgeous that theres a lot to keep you occupied. I love how you just clear your mind and listen to all the sounds. I really got in my groove about 11 min in. At 28 min half way up last hill my lungs were screaming, the legs felt strong. I almost stopped when I heard my hub yell something (way up ahead lol) “pump your arms” and it helped get me 3/4 of the way and I had to cry uncle. Was a little disappointed i couldnt tough it out, but happy i got a straight 28 min, walked for a short bit then we ran the rest of way home.Ill bring my music next time for the hills, or try to keep up better with hub to share his rhythm.
