I had a dude show up and comment on my log saying “It’s nice to see someone looking as good as you lifting normal people weights” the other day.
My barber asked for my max bench today and said “Really? Considering your build, I would have thought it were more” ![]()
Yeah I enjoyed that.

My triceps are so fried after this session. Not sure i was 100% recovered from the friday session to be honest but i’m on a cut so not getting the food i want in.
Why do you think so?
I don’t know your symptoms but have you done all the other things before going on TRT ?
Do you sleep well ? Are you eating enough “good” food/fats ? Are you training accordingly with your recovery capacities? etc etc
Sorry to jump like this in your log but I have the impression that people today quickly make the shortcut of going on TRT rather than eating well, sleeping, and recovering well before sticking a needle in their butt.
The op i had removed my right testicle, when i had it they told me to look out for some symptoms which I’ve been having and the doctor said it sounded like a low T issue. I guess i’ve assumed that the only way to combat that is through trt but not something i would have wanted if i had a healthy set of balls producing enough.
In terms of other things, sleeps no worse than it ever has been, probably get around 7 hours every night of actual sleep. Diet is good and varied, i definitely get enough fats as i love my diary. I might be well off the mark with this and it might be something else but for the last couple of months i’ve not felt right, not felt me. Struggling to have any sexual motivation and am exhausted all the time which is all really unlike me.
Blood tests are tomorrow so guess I’ll find out in a week or two what they say.
Ps. Don’t worry about jumping in like this. I always appreciate good discussion!
Sorry, didn’t know that…
I have too often read people who jump on TRT before asking themselves questions about their lifestyle.
Does it correspond with a change (other than the op), in training, diet, other ?
Maybe all the meadows stuff is too much for you to be able to recover efficiently?
Fair, but I’m pretty sure he’s done it prior to and after surgery, so he’s his own control a little bit.
I’m also glad to see I’m not the only one who is weaker than he looks!
Although I’m on a cut I’ve done the Meadow’s stuff before so know my recovery levels. I did a 531 BBB version recently which i just couldn’t recover from but don’t know if that was a general feeling or caused by the programme. Either way i sacked it off and started something i knew i could do.
I’ll see what the results say and take it from there.

How long are the sessions taking you?
Taking around an hour. I’ve been late to work a couple of times now. The quickest workout is the leg one believe it or not. The extra volume is hard but I’ve been on maintenance for the last 2 weeks due to a couple of cheat days.
Also get blood tests back this afternoon.
Good luck!
Got my results (drop roll)…
Test levels are normal which is really good, he didn’t give me the number but said i was bang in the middle of the bell curve for where i should be (whatever that means)
But i had a really high level of creatinine in my kidneys so I’ve got to go for some more bloodwork, urine and ultrasound tests. Doctor thinks it might be nothing but is just checking.
If that comes back as nothing though it doesn’t really explain why I’ve been feeling the way i do though…so good news and bad news.
