Thanks for sharing BBB.
I have just taken receipt of 60 amps and will commence my cycle this evening.
It’s been about 10 years since i last had to snap open an ampoule, hopefully i won’t slice my finger open.

DAY 28 - I might actually be starting to see some minor results. My knee pain hasn’t been too bad lately. It may have dropped a couple points on a 1-10 pain scale. Other joints are still bothering me a bit. I have 12 days left so i’m just gonna finish it out. I’ve been PW injecting. Im still trying to get my hands on some adequan.
Thanks BBB, Do you have a specific dosing protocol for this also? If so id be willing to log and report my results.

Well I have a new source for adequan. I did some digging for some friends and looked on a horse forum, lol.
It’s allivet. I’m sure you can find it.

BBB,
It took me a while (didn’t realize there was a generic), but I found it. Good deal, too! Thanks!
What would be a hypothetical optimum dosage/usage if one had both Alflutop and Adequan and how would HGH and IGF fit into the mix, if at all.
Thanks
Day 35 - I ran hard intervals on saturday, i havent been at that level since my surgery last december. Little to no knee pain after, just the general discomfort so thats an improvement. Its about the only thing thats improved tho, all the tendon pain is still present. Im going to the Doc today to get some blood work done…more on that later. I have 5 vials left so ill finish it off by the end of the week.

If you are referring to Ichon, it is not the “generic” version of Adequan. In an Adequan-backed study they explained that Ichon is not the same as Adequan, although it seems the makers of Ichon claim it to be identical. As well, it is not made for injection. but then again i read a post on a vet forum saying that someone from kinetic labs stated that it works ok as a cheaper alternative to adequan and it is sterile. FWIW the Adequan funded study showed Adequan to be more effective.
Allivet doesn’t sell Adequan w/o a prescription, btw.
PS Ichon is available w/o a scrip
Interesting…Anyone tried it? Any logs hanging around.

Not to be a smartass, but what did you think a study by Adequan would say? Ichon doesn’t require a script because it says that it’s for treatment of external wounds. However, it’s sterile and has the same ingredients as Adequan… and is WAY cheaper. But Adequan says it’s not as good as Adequan.
Hm… You make the call.
Fatcat,
You know, you could be right, though. I’ve used Adequan before and I’ll be starting an Ichon protocol soon, so I’ll try to keep you all up to date as to what my experience is…
Barchie, i think you may be right. I’ve been reading up on it quite a bit and alot of people say that adequan has worked better on their horses but how the fuck would they know? Its not like their horses are telling them.
Yeah, I’m sure lots of bit pharma companies would swear up and down that generics don’t work as well as the brand names if they could… Well, I’ll let you all know how it goes!

Sorry for the late reply, I don’t check this forum that often.
Barchie you make a valid point. Im very skeptical of manufacturer funded studies.
edit— i did some more forum research and it seems Ichon is the ticket.
Here is a post on Ichon from a horse forum saying the exact opposite of what I thought:
"
Ichon is a relatively new product that is the same substance as Adequan. It has the exact same molecular structure and is packaged exactly the same. It is labeled as a wound treatment so to use it in the same manner as Adequan is an “off-label” use, but it is sterile and completely safe to inject (per the Kinetic staff vet). My horse’s chiro (a DVM) recommended it, but before I used it I checked with my lameness vet, and also talked with several vets at a large University Vet School, and they all told me it was the exact same stuff as Adequan. I’ve been using it for over a year now and see the exact same results as I did with Adequan. There is a marked price difference, and I am poor, so it really helps out."
“Adequain is a Patent protected name and Ichon seems to have side stepped the issue by manufacturing to medical grade injection quality by saying its for “wound Lavauge” there for avoiding any infringements.
“TO QUOTE” “IChON is a PS-GAG, which is labeled and marketed as a medical device for wound dressing. It is a more cost-competitive and chemically ideal alternative to similar products””
So I really don’t know. I think it is worth a shot.
Actually I’ve done more reading and it appears by all counts Ichon is a viable alternative to Adequan. The post I made about it not being a true generic (now edited), while true, is more technical legal mumbo than matters for practical purposes. Hope these posts help anyone searching in the future as it can get confusing.
So the final conclusion is that Ichon is not chemically identical but it will theoretically give the same effects? Anyone tried this yet?
Well… according to some it isn’t identical and according to others it is.
I only posted the forum posts I saw today that said it is identical. I’ve read just as many in the past saying it is not, but these people say nevertheless a good and cheaper alternative. I think someone just needs to try it and let us know. Hopefully barchie posts back.
Yeah good call. Alflutop didn’t show me as much love as i would have liked, but then again i have the test levels of a 90 year old female. So that may be the underlier in that case. Never the less id love to try some of this.
