I would recommend just doing something different and refreshing. Don’t take time off if that means no exercise or physical activity.

Do yoga, calisthenics, running, biking, something.

I think the fact that I just dropped out instead of fighting it (seemed to be a fairly instinctive reaction, that or my legs were just jelly and couldn’t hold me up haha) probably saved me any injury, will definitely be more careful on the re-rack from now on!

Thanks, you’re right and these days I generally get out for a short but fast walk, and have been cycling a little bit on the weekends all short easy stuff though.

Looks like life is throwing me a deload though, missed yesterday due to potentially having a placement that evening, so helped the Mrs prep and clean the house. Didn’t get the placement yesterday but will be getting it Friday. Exciting stuff.

Training might happen today but I’m preaching on Sunday and I haven’t finished prep, which I have to record for online by Friday then preach live Sunday, my in-laws are coming to stay nearby for a week and I’ll be spending Saturday with them and the new placement (baby) so at best I might get to train today, I won’t be able to train until Monday. So it will be a maximum of 2 sessions this week, and since I deloaded squats the week before and deads last week (then will stretch the time between deads 10 days). I think that will be adequate.

In body comp news I am eating almost nothing but sugar right now, Christmas definitely started too early for me, I am hitting the antithesis of the body comp holy grail, losing weight and getting fatter!

Trying to think up a new title for my log, this might go on the short list.

Yea I need a new title too, don’t think I count as a lurker and more and definitely not doing BtM. Need to think of something around deadlifts and bigger arms… 2021 dead arm race?

Erm…maybe you should think about hiring a PR firm or maybe an assistant to help you out with the clever stuff.

Well that’s why I haven’t changed it yet - I was crowd sourcing the clever stuff… Any witty suggestions?

Sure, sure, I can probably come up with a few, maybe we can take them one at a time for starters.

Hilarious and true, apart from my vision, that’s big, it’s the reality that’s a problem.

So you want something that better reflects unrealistic expectations?

Maybe not unrealistic expectations, just poor realisation of results, the expectations seem reasonable when measured against others.

Anyway just something vaguely witty and descriptive.

Nah, see, now I just feel bad about your lack of achievement. You’re taking all the fun out of it.

Let’s be honest, he’s no spring chicken.

The age discrapency is what makes him young, my good sir.

I got a good laugh out of your exchange btw. You truly are a savage.

So basically, I am just extremely old, is what you’re saying.

Sheesh, maybe I will just go start my own forum somewhere. I will call it Low-TNation.

Yeah that was the gist of it.

You do seem extra cranky today. Is it lockdown blues already or is the wind playing havoc with your trick hip?

I mean can’t it be both?
