How many weeks was the program. Those gainz look pretty solid to me. Repeat that 4 times times in a year and that would be massive Improvements. Given you also didn’t add any body weight the gains are even more impressive. Well done

The gains look great, and to be honest I’m probably just expecting too much. I think because I didn’t test any 1rms quite a long time beforehand then I’m sort of thinking that those lifts were there or close anyway. Like I said I like the program and thoroughly recommend it, and will re-run at some point in the not too distant future so that comment wasn’t a knock on the program or the progress.

Also worth noting I screwed up the program so didn’t do it 100% as written. It’s a 12 week program and I’m confident I’ll get better results when running through again.

You’re tall and lean-ish. Wasn’t your dead up to 200 kilo? Nothing wrong with that. It is a pretty good number, and besides, not everyone is built for it.

You might be able to out 5kg more on the bar but then you’re old man spine will crumple on the lift!

There are few things that will make me risk turning my spine to dust, but outlifting you might be one of them.

Had a decent enough mirror at the place I was staying over the weekend, so - post hot tub selfie!
Posting (with modesty filter!) as a reference point for starting BtM, which I am supposed to be starting today but my day has been busy and stressful with work and I’ve got family & house stuff to do very shortly.

Joyfully - now that I’m on 3 a week sessions I can just sack it off till tomorrow and not have do half a session here and be annoyed at starting badly.

Weight dipped slightly 207.75 apparently multiple servings donuts, cheese cake, apple crumble and custard alongside normal eating are not enough!

The weird thing is my body doesn’t like to get any leaner, I diet and generally just shrink all over!

Conditioning I’m doing on same day/same time I know that’s not exactly on program, but I’m not completely neglecting it!

It’s intended to help you recover between workouts. I would at least be open to changing if you get totally beat down.

The one thing I’m noticing is how constantly sore my lats are. BtM is an under rated back builder. Also, pull aparts are key for shoulder health with all the pressing and squatting, at least it helps me.

Who knew you could build a little bit of thigh muscle with some squats and deads! (Wouldn’t say no to a leg press/hack squat in the garage though…except for the fact I’ve got no space left!).

Haha that wasn’t intentional just a mirror logistics - my calves aren’t too bad, next time I’m feeling photogenic in the calf area I’ll post one up!
