I’m not exactly lean, just not sloppy (yet!) I was always on the skinny side of the spectrum and always struggle to gain weight. Literally started at 151lbs at 6’2 thats not a good look - oh and I didn’t have abs then either just skinny, I’ll dig up an old photo if I can.
Also I don’t get to eat like this and no get fat normally, it’s definitely dark horse, so you know the solution…

I was probably similar as a 15/16 year old climber. I had abs though, which is all that counts at that age.
