So I had my gyno surgery about 2-3 months ago and everything is great, about to start a cycle soon…however, I have heard conflicting view points from doctors on how to best prevent the reoccurrence, some say a-dex throughout and then coupled with nolva for pct…others have told me it’s safest to run nolva throughout (obviously will hinder gains but they rarely remove EVERYTHING as it leaves a caved in look) so basically I’m looking for a view more opinions and maybe someone who has had the surgery and run cycles after without any problems, thanks
If you have been drug free for the last 2-3 months I would venture to say (guessing, educated one) the use of arimidex or another AI is the best for on cycle, and then use a SERM (Nolvadex) after cycle to help recover natural production as well as protect against gyno.
You can always use the Nolvadex if you start to show symptoms of high E.
I had Gyno surgery last year. If the doctor has not removed all the glands the existing Gyno will only flare up if Estrogen is not controlled.
Many men have a tiny amount of breast tissue, my doctor told me that any tissue/glands he has not removed can only double in size (I didn’t tell him that I was using AAS, maybe I should of but I’m not sure how true this is or if it applies to non AAS users only) i was born with mild Gyno btw.
My advice, and what I do now is use AAS and AI like some one who hasn’t had Gyno (and doesn’t want to get it!) I use adex and use the test taper plus serm for PCT. I found nolva was best for reducing/ minimizing existing cases of Gyno, which is probably why you want to use it, remember you don’t have Gyno now! I have only used Adex to control E since my surgery, and have had no problems.
P.S don’t use research Adex its shite!

Thank you for your reply, I will NEVER use the research Adex again as it is complete shit i agree…So when you have used Adex what dosage have you used? Did you frontload it? Did you continue it a bit through pct?
Im debating frontloading my adex because I dont ever want to deal with gyno again
Hi, sorry for the late reply.
I was using about 0.50mg Adex EOD (research) and to be honest I didn’t have any problems, I was slightly paraniod as I could feel the nolvadex kicking in on my Gyno, and could feel it firm slightly when I used Adex, so when it was removed I had lost my 'anti E ’ gauge.
I have never front loaded Adex, and as far as I am aware you don’t need to. I was using 250mg Omnadron EOD and I now use 0.3 mg Adex EOD and have no problems whatsover.
Just act like you’ve never had gyno, control E with Adex, which seems to be the AI of choice on this site, so I go with it, like I said, my gyno never got worse when I used it, and hasn’t returned as I still use it.
If you want to be paranoid, and take every preventitive measure, use the test taper plus serm for PCT (I am speaking form experience, I used this back in the day when I came off I read Prisoner say that this method will prevent an estrogen rebound, as that could catch you with your pants down and cause you problems you really don’t need.
Also , no I never used adex for pct, read the test taper thread, and use a serm also, you shouldn’t have any problems mate
The worlds a better place whece on Test when one has no gyno! I’ve felt much better and much more happy and confident, I’ve had to threesomes since my surgery (one mmf and one ffm in case anyones interested)
