Should I be Taking an AI?

So i thought i had my cycle planed out until i started reading some of the recent gyno threads. im running 1/2cc sus 250 eod, and for pct i was planning on week 1, 100mg/day and weeks 2-3 50mg/day…pretty standard from what ive gathered, but im beginning to worry about possible gyno because the threads im reading.

with my protocol it yields about 437 mg/week…so i guess my question is should i be running adex? i have 50 10mg tabs of nolva which i got just for a possible flare up

depends…have you considerably big nipples? some say it is a sign of natural high estrogen levels.

If you do cover your base and start some AI

If not then just have some but don’t use as it has a whole host of other problems.

Shouldnt be necessary at that dose. However everyone is drastically different.

Ive had flare ups mid cycle in the distant past, used no AI or serm and anything that did come about during the cycle went away post.

With more T, you will get more E. Elevated E causes lots of problems and limits the effects of the T. More E means more SHBG and that reduced FT. Waiting for gyno is stupid. Any given cycle will provide better results if E is controlled.

More and more I am agreeing with this. I’m on a SERM, not an AI now, but I think the effects are basically the same. I notice no real difference in anything except the negative stuff, which has become positive.

I was on a dose of test that was not crazily high by any means and started to have a gyno flare-up, too. Personally, I’ll be running an AI start to finish for all of my cycles from now on.

You could use a low dose and bump up if need be.

It depends on the person, I can run up to a gram a week without and AI and be fine. But like KS said it is better to be safe than sorry. A low dose AI is always a good idea if you are at all worried. By AI I mean Adex or Aromasin, NOT proviron.
