Just got back from eating out (Mixed Grill…standard) so a few notes on the session:
*Was able to get a pump going finally, after firing blanks for a few sessions
*1st time I Incline Benched since March, felt like a whole new exercise!
The reason I stopped is because I fucked up my left upper trap doing 1-arm BB Shrugs & had to take a few things I would normally do out of my exercise selection
*This also included DB Flyes which I did for the 1st time today since March also, was massively happy about this!
Shame about the picture. I look like a roast chicken with the skin peeled off.
GODDAMMIT I WISH I WAS A GLORIOUS BRONZE ADONIS INSTEAD OF A PALE SNAIL
It was 80ish degrees when we were there you reckon, Jake? If my spidey-sense feels anything above 72, I automatically initiate ‘Extreme Pub Hibernation Mode’. Brit’s abroad innit!
Cheers Ryan, have a good chest workout mate, will check it out in the log later.

I’m all about the hot weather! 30~ celsius is nothing though imo- only gets sickeningly hot when we are talking 35+. I burned like hell though due to my somewhat lax suncream skills, so that was pretty British.

Add a rubber ring and a can of Scrumpy Jack to that image and you’ve pretty much nailed it!

Ha. See you went all out. My goal was to look like I worked there by the end. Definitely started to convince people by the end but they kept calling me out and asking where I worked…

not going to creamfields are you?[/quote]
I’m not planning to, are you? I’m a regular at V, Reading, Hop Farm & a few of the smaller London-based ones like Wireless etc.
I’m supposed to be doing Zoo Project for a mate’s birthday but haven’t got my ticket yet. Never been to this one before though.

Pretty cool then, this is convenient to go to for me. Think I’m buying a ticket tonight.

So i’ve decided i’m going to drop a few pounds. 5-6 lbs will take me sub-200 which is Abs City for me, so I might hold that weight for a bit before gaining again. Still got a lot to work on - quads, chest etc
Wasn’t up for this at all so wasn’t expecting much, but turned out to be an okay session. Forgot my workout drink & my logbook though.
Lats & Biceps:

F) HS Bicep Curl - worked up to one rest-pause set with 60lbs for 9,6,4 reps
Playing 90 mins football (soccer) tomorrow for the 1st time in about 2 years so will probably be well knackered afterwards.
Won 6-1 ! Had ten men for an hour due to a sending off too. Was supposed to be legs tomorrow, but based on the whole world of pain i’m in right now, it will probably be chest.

Nice work! Unfortunately I’ve found football and training don’t exactly go hand in hand else I’d probably look to play most weekends again myself.
Sweet new profile pic, Jake! And you’re right, the two def don’t go together sadly! Still aching today too ugh
