99.99% of the Tees I wear are just plain old white T’s. I pretty much hate making statements, so I figure a white T is just a shirt. Actualy it does make a statement, it’s I don’t care what you think of me.

V
you hate making statements but you walk around with a shirt that reads “testosterone”? k

i don’t go out trying to make statements, i wear shirts i think look good. i don’t always spend a fortune on t’s either (although i don’t think $30 is that much) but i did just order a t-shirt off Amazon last night that’s red and says “Nintendo” for $17 + shipping…and another from a band i like, Turbonegro.

I can only wear white t’s for a short while. then the pits get stained :frowning:

ha Turbonegro…I saw them with Queens of the Stone Age in South Carolina … good fuckin show
Vegita wrote:
My “TESTOSTERONE” T is more hardcore than any affliction T and it cost what $15 bucks or something? I am not going to hate on Tapout or affliction shit. To each his own. Some people bust my balls for my testosterone shirt, I get comments all the time, mostly good ones but some like, “ohh watch out here comes a toughguy”.

So I have a reason for wearing the shirt, and I wear it in public mainly to counteract the metrosexuals. If someone actualy asks me about it I generally have an intelligent conversation about what it stands for to me and most people end up thinking hey thats pretty cool.

Spending $100 on a peice of clothing that isn’t gear, like a leather jacket, snowboarding pants, fishing waders, etc… is fucking stupid. I’m still not going to rant about it, it’s just really bad financial decision making.

I have no problem Peeing in public either.

I guess its just the douchebags in my particular gym that wear the stuff. They get all geared up with the stuff, ed hardy hat with a big ass panther on it, ed hardy shirt with a little skull on it, and ed hardy jeans with another panther wrapping around their leg, and even ed hardy shoes in the F’ing gym.

Please someone defend that for being “cool”. There are about 5-6 of them that all workout together and the grunt the loudest on the least amount of weight, leave their weights laying around and dont put them up, throw the weights after they are done chest pressing 35’s, curling in the squat rack, etc…

I’m wondering what kind of person gives a shit who buys it … do the shirts make fun of you? Do they steal your girlfriend? Do they make you feel insecure when they enter a room?

Seriously, who gives a shit if some kid wears this shit? So he wants to project an image regardless if it’s just an image or not why the hell do you care? Maybe you should let your balls drop and worry about your damn self than someone who wears designer clothes…

Jesus Tapdancing Christ
I need to let my balls drop?? I guess you are one of those internet badasses huh? I am a 32 year old man and you are probably one of the douchebags that buy Ed Hardy and think that you are cool. Keep wearing your Ed Hardy kid…

You can buy Ed Hardy shit at Costco now.

Hate might have not been the correct word, though I wasn’t really using it in a true hate context. I normally do not make a statement with my clothing. Sometimes when I’m particularly fed up with things outside of my control, I wear my Testosterone shirt out to cause a ripple. It’s rare so my sentiment still stands. After all, Tyler Durden told me I’m not my fucking Kahkis.

You’re 32 years old and you still worry about what fashion choices other people make? Way to go champ…

Maybe I do wear Ed Hardy maybe I don’t … my point is why the HELL do you care? And maybe my bench max is 135 … wooopedy fuckin do … does that make you better than me?

You’re right. You don’t know me. You’re making assumptions about me because you’re so wrapped up in trying to control your world and all that you see that you fail to realize that no one gives a flying fuck whether you exist or not. You validate everything I say by “proving” you’re better than me because you’re 32 and fly off the handle because I busted you chops about a fucking Ed Hardy/Affliction thread you started.

Here’s a bit of advice: next time you decide to start a thread complaining about something as asinine as Ed Hardy/Affliction you might want to reconsider. Apparently you can’t handle criticism regardless of how off base it might be. In closing: Good job acting your age…

Let’s go pee in the pool!

You’re opinion is an assumption? I’m sorry that you’re confused by the two. I respect that your opinion of Ed Hardy/Affliction. That’s fine. You’re a very self absorbed person; this much I can gather from your tirade about trendy fashion. You obviously feel like you have to prove something to everyone here; I gathered this from your mention of the young man you were complaining about benching 135lbs. These are observations: not assumptions.

You’re assumptions of ME however, couldn’t be further from the truth. I think if you actually checked my profile, my posting habits, join date, and lifts you’ll see that I have nothing to hide from anyone or prove to anyone.

So, tell me again, how is it you know me and my “trollish” ways?

Chillax Broseph, he’s no fucking troll and your 32 year old internet toughguy act is a little fucking sad. He busts your balls and all of a sudden he is a little troll weakling? So, anyone who has the audacity to bust your balls needs to first show up in person to your doorstep so you can evaluate if they could kick your ass or not and then only if you determine them to be either as tough as you or tougher, they can then go back and bust your balls on the internet?

It’s commonplace around here for one person to bitch about something stupid and then he himself get called out for caring about something so fucking trivial. If you can take getting your balls busted then continue to post complaints about really really important shit, if you can’t handle it, stick to reading the fucking articles.

I just can’t understand why anyone would buy a t-shirt or anything else for that matter for 100+ dollars. I see people out in clubs all the time that wear this shit. What I can’t help wondering is why would someone so foolishly spend money on this shit. Are people that insecure with themselves they need to decorate themselves with clothes they pretend they can afford?

Sure they might have lots of disposable income from living at home with mommy or daddy. But seriously would that money not be better spent like on a muscle car with a huge engine. Or I see people that wear these labels and I know for a fact they are not well off people. They buy 300$ glasses and go to clubs and reserve tables and get grey goose bottle service.

When there day job is working just above fast food level of jobs. After this club night they are broke and can’t really do much accept save for the next round 1 or 2 months away. I know I am ranting about this but what happened to sensibility?

You see people wearing expensive shit in the clubs, because most people tend to dress to impress at clubs. Shit, a lot of clubs won’t let you in if you’re wearing crap clothing. And why the hell would that money be better spent on a muscle car with a huge engine? So not only did you spend more money on your vehicle, but now you need to spend more money on a consistant basis for gas because you bought a fucking gas guzzler. Muscle cars are stupid to me, since to take advantage of that huge engine, you’re probably going to be breaking the law, or at the least, driving like a jackass.

As for bottle service, it’s really not bad if you split it with a group. Split the cost of a bottle (obviously not something rediculous, but a $500 bottle or something), and you’ve got a good amount of drinks with that which would have been money spent at the bar, and your own private area at the club.
You go on and thinking your impressing someone when the girl you spent all your money on ditches your at the end of the night cause your obviously a douchebage

You lack the mental aptitude to post in internet forums.

You may want to reevaluate your approach to this thing here.

I love ed hardy t-shirts, nice art. But I wont pay 50-150 for a shirt, so I buy replicas, www.wikivog.com

Seriously, this is GAL, this is for all the nonsense that doesn’t go anywhere else. I started a thread about peeing in the shower.

I actually can’t pee in the shower. My release trigger just won’t fire.

I can’t pee in public bathrooms with someone next to me. Even if there is a divider in between us. It can make for some awkward situations. I even have trouble sometimes if someone is in one of the stalls. Sometimes I just pretend to pee and leave.

LOL, we used to call it stage fright in the Marine Corps. When they used to piss test us, they would make us pull our pants to our ankles and shirts up to our chest, then Gunny would literally behind you looking over your shoulder staring at your cock asking what was taking so long.

Try taking a piss like that, you feel like you’re about to get anally raped.
Goddamn it Matt I spent the last 20 years trying to forget about that. Damn you man! I don’t care what shirts this clowns buy as long as they don’t train where I do, because they are largely idoits. Two interesting points

  1. I know quite a few MMA fighters and trainers…very few of them wear this stuff other than for promotional reasons
  2. I had 9 MMA fights. I have never bought or worn this stuff, although ten years ago when I competed it really was’nt readily available (I think tapout was though)
Heres a way more important question : Why are the majority of these guys 5’7 and have tribal armband tattoos? Anyone?

You won’t argue with people who say “Jesus Tadancing Christ” and “Chillax Broseph” but you’ll say that they are in a “bromance”? Dude, you’re a fucking gem.

On point: Affliction aint bad, Ed Hardy is a little too much for me though. I wouldn’t wear either because I can’t afford it, and even if I did I don’t think I would buy it. I don’t mind others wearing it though.

I’m more a fan of JL, fenchurch, diesal, LRG, Famous, and really any blank or hockey/sports T-shirts.

And yet, the fashion industry is striving. Once again, $100 on a clothing item is NOT a lot for a lot of people, and it’s nowhere NEAR what a lot of other designer brands cost.

(The next bit isn’t directed towards you).
Frankly, I don’t care about what people’s opinions are, but let’s get one thing straight: just because you WISH something was a certain way doesn’t make it so. Just because $100 is a considerable sum TO YOU, doesn’t mean everyone is the same way. I’m sure there’s people out there for whom 20-30$ on a tee seems exorbitant.

Personally, I don’t think that $100 on a tee or polo I like is too much. I enjoy dressing well, and can afford it. What’s the problem? The self-righteous attitude is fucking ridiculous. Let people do what they want to do.
