Aesthetics Goal - Cutting Log

Hey guys.

I haven’t posted here for a looooong time so sorry if I’m a tad rusty.

Firstly, a bit about myself.

Stats

Age:20
Height: 5 ft 7
Weight: 79Kgs
BF%: 16.7
Lifting for: 4 years

I live in Lancashire, England. I am extremely sporty and highly motivated. I reached the development squad for the North England rugby team before I unfortunately tore my achilles. I then went on into boxing, which soon became my main sport. I am currently at university, and at my current weight, I am simply not tall enough to compete with 6 ft 3 fighters. Therefore, I am aiming to cut fat and drop to a lean and solid 75kgs. This will put me at the top of my weight category, in which I feel I will have much more success. SO…

My diet is pretty solid. 6 meals a day, 30g protein per meal, low carbs during the day, nil carbs in the latter parts of the day, increase healthy fats as carbs decrease. Protein in the form of lean chicken and protein shakes (may treat myself to a bit of red meat from time to time. nom nom)

The supplements I will be taking will be Clen and Animal Cuts (along with shakes of course).
(Shakes contain BCAA’s)
The way in which I will take clen is the usual 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. I have done this system before and it has produced some good results.

This is the dosing in which I shall take the clen:

Day 1-2: 80mcg
Day 3-8: 120mcg
Day 9-14: 160mcg

I will be taking taurine and vitamin-C to limit cramps and reduce tremors.

The animal cuts is simply 2 packs, 1 before breakfast and 1 before lunch.
Here is the nutritional information for Animal Cuts:

My training routine will be:

Monday: Chest and Triceps + abs (HIIT after workout)
Tuesday: Back and Biceps (Continuous cardio after workout)
Wednesday: Legs + abs (no cardio - can barely walk after a session)
Thursday: High rep day - Active recovery - (HIIT after workout)
Friday: Shoulders + abs (Continuous cardio after workout)
Saturday and Sunday: Rest days (maybe light cardio)

Overall, I am aiming to reduce body fat, whilst maintaining lean muscle. In this log, I will note any changes in body figure, feelings, injuries, workouts and various other issues i may encounter along my cutting period. I will of course provide photos of my progress.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy following my cut as much as I will enjoy doing it.

Cheers.

Here is my first picture - 30.08.12

Apologies for the enormous picture. Didn’t realise it would come out that big. Is there any way I can make the images smaller on future posts?

Starting this routine on Monday, due to the fact that I don’t want to have a disjointed workout routine.

BUMP for Monday

Training as usual up to Monday. Eating clean and feeling fatigued due to lowering overall carbs each day.

Excited to properly get started and shred this fat.

Tried a fasted run + fasted light training session this morning. Felt REALLY rough on the way home but feeling good about how many calories I burnt off.

Addition to my training routine, I’ll be doing morning fasted cardio every morning from now on. Not able to train in the gym on weekday mornings due to working in a hospital so working 9-5 everyday. Looking forward to smashing it this coming week.

Just got back from my fasted 30 minute morning run. Legs are feeling much better and I’m becoming less fatigued. Beautiful morning here in England. I’ll update with my training session later tonight.

Back from the gym. GREAT session. Today was Chest and Triceps.

Workout consisted of:

Flat dumbell bench: 14 reps 24kg
12 reps 28kg
8 reps 34kg

Incline dumbell bench: 14 reps 22kg
12 reps 26kg
8 reps 30kg

Cable flys: Until fail x 3 sets

Tricep kick backs: 14 reps 10kg
12 reps 14kg
8 reps 15kg

Single arm skull crushers: 14 reps 8kg
12 reps 10kg
Until fail 10kg

Straight bar pull down: Pyramid sets until fail starting at 25kg down to 8kg (5kg drops each time)

Abdominals: Romanian chair lifts: Until fail x 3 sets
Leg raises: Until fail x 3 sets
Standard crunches: Until fail x 3 sets

Then smashed the HIIT which was difficult due to the morning fasted run but I guess I’m going to have to get used to it. Feels good afterwards but it was absolute hell during.

The clen is still having an effect. Shaking until 11am after taking at 8am. Upped my taurine intake to counter this. Starting to increase my potassium intake also to prevent calf and back cramps.

Drinking HUGE amount of water. I feel dehydrated constantly but I believe its the Animal cuts as it contains a large amount of caffeine which dehydrates the body, and then also a diuretic. Double trouble for water.

Overall a good day. Having another full body composition test on Friday to see how I’m doing. Looking forward to seeing my BF% fall and hopefully my skeletal muscle maintained.

Will post more tomorrow after my workout.

Big session today for back and biceps.

Workout consisted of:

Pendlay rows:
14 reps 60kg
12 reps 70kg
10 reps 60kg

Single arm rows:
14 reps 28kg
12 reps 30kg
8 reps 32kg

Lat pulldowns:
14 reps 45kg
12 reps 55kg
10 reps 65kg

Isolated biceps curl:
14 reps 12.5kg
12 reps 15kg
8 reps 14kg

Single arm preacher curls:
14 reps 12.5kg
12 reps 14kg
10 reps 16kg

21’s with EZ-bar:
15kg, 20kg, 15kg.

No abdominals today.

HIIT went well. Felt really good. My knees are giving me a bit of jip but otherwise I felt good. My morning fasted run was also really good. Starting to enjoy getting up early. Makes me feel much fresher throughout the day.

Still drinking over 2 gallons of water a day. Clen dosage remaining the same for the next few days then I’ll see whether I need to increase or decrease the dose.

Overall, a good day for fitness and gym. Got a REALLY good pump on biceps. Thought my arms were going to explode.

I’ll update again after my session tomorrow afternoon.

Heres a picture after 2 weeks. I’m just too busy to keep posting up every routine. Will keep updating as the dieting continues.
