Advisement on cycle

I am ready to start my cycle. Not my first. I am not trying to get huge. I will be 51 years old in January. I am in very good shape, a little bit more fat coming off of a meniscus scope, but still abs and obliques showing without any flex, and my healing has gone wonderfully and I should be full bore in another 3 weeks.

I have deca 300, cyp 250, proviron 25mg and tbol 20mg. I am not trying to get huge! Gonna stay at 300 deca and 250 cyp weekly, and I don’t want the double test to deca discussion because it is and has been a raging debate on both sides. The tbol I will incorporate in mid/later-cycle ish (possibly at a strength plateau). I have all of my pct as well, Nolva, clomid, hcg…

I have not ever done bloodwork, foolishly I know! Done a few cycles of Tren E, Dbol tabs, test, deca, Eq, and a few others and never had a problem. Again, I’m not claiming sensibility.

-how important is the bloodwork with these compounds in my cycle?

-Should I go 12, 14, or 16 weeks on this cycle?

-Should I start my n2guard before all of this or just when I start cycle?

-Do I start proviron before the deca, or at the same time?

-I have read many people that believe 25mg proviron is ample, but many state that 50mg is better?

-Proviron is every day correct?

-do I stop Deca two weeks before test?

-when do I start nova? Clomid? Hcg?

Sorry for the novel, but I’m ready to get down and do it properly. The only reason I inquire about the bloodwork is because it’s troublesome, no worries with pins or what have you! Yes I am hard headed. Thank you for taking time to concern yourself with my inquiries!

Bloodwork is important no matter what you are doing. If you can afford drugs you can afford bloods

Personally i would do 14weeks

No harm in starting it a week ahead

Start it all together but i would run 50mg/day proviron with deca

Yes

Run it all for the full duration.

You need to wait for the drugs to clear so do the math on the half lives.

HCG would be run once PCT is complete.

My question for you is at 51YO and a history of cycling gear i would have to imagine your test levels are garbage off cycle. Have you thought about TRT?

I agree with all of s.gentz points…except I’d recommend running it for 16-20 weeks; with deca (and equipoise), I recommend longer cycles of at least 16 weeks to get full benefits. But maybe keep tbol to 12 weeks, or even just 8 weeks.
Definitely get labs, at the least to get arimidex dose dialed in. Proviron is good to mitigate libido and possible low mood sides, but you’ll probably still need arimidex to keep estrogen in check and cabergoline to keep progesterone/prolactin in check.
Good luck!

Thank you for your time and relaying your knowledge. I got my testosterone checked it was at 500 about 4 months ago. I was taking expensive test boosters testodren, testo prime, testosil. It’s been 2.5 years since I cycled.

-So I should get bloods prior to starting, or after I’ve been on for a few weeks?

-Do I need the full report or the basic or the mid level to start? I was reading and it appears that there are 3 complexities of the bloods. Money isn’t the issue, just lack of knowledge.

I am beginning to research this aspect, and I’m certain it’s interpretable, but admittedly at first glance at a bloodwork chart, I’m like huh…?

suppose it’s best to get the results back and then get feedback on those results, while educating myself more in route.

Again, thank you good sir for your kindness!

Thank you friend for your time and your knowledge. I have enough Deca and test for up to 20. Some people on forums are so stern about no more than 12 weeks and some are just as stern about longer. With the knowledge I’ve gained regarding Deca, and my dosage, I lean toward the lengthier. Yes sir, I have arimidex. I have typically done 1mg eod on this in my past cycles, as this was passed on from buddies in the gym.

-Is eod a common method of administration on arimidex ?

-Would there be a scenario to take arimidex less or more?

-would I take Proviron the entire length of Deca?

I will get my bloods, I’m just not educated at all on that platform, other than realizing I should.

-do I get the bloods before I start or after being on a few weeks?

-it also seems that there are 3 levels/complexities of the bloods–a basic, mid and full board. Are these dependent on the time period in the cycle, or how many different substances one is using, or any other factors?

Money is not an issue, just lack of knowledge. I will educate myself, but I do know true experience trumps Google.

Again thank you for your kindness and consideration

It’d be good to get labs beforehand and then 4-6 weeks after starting. This way you’ll have a baseline to compare your labs from 4-6 weeks in to.
I’d recommend getting CBC, TT, FT, SHBG, and sensitive Estradiol (and perhaps DHT too). You might want to get PSA checked too, before starting and maybe a couple months into the cycle, but if your PSA prior to starting looks fine and your going to do a PCT after cycle and go back to natural then checking PSA during cycle probably isn’t necessary.
Be careful to not crush your estrogen levels with arimidex; you want to find that sweet spot, and men need healthy levels of estrogen for health too. I’d start with 0.5mg every 4 or 5 days, and only adjust dose if your labs at 4-6 weeks into cycle suggest the need to do so. Arimidex is powerful medication, and if not careful you can really crush your levels and get nasty low estrogen symptoms.
With deca 16-20 weeks is really optimal. And I’d say with the moderate cycle you have planned that 20 weeks would be fine…unless you during cycle labs give red flags. Deca can put your mood low, a sort of depressed feeling, in lots of people, and proviron and cabergoline can do well to avoid that affect.
I wouldn’t run the tbol as long as everything else, mainly because it can negatively impact liver; you could run it longer with TUDCA, but maybe get labs on your liver health if you plan to run longer than 8 weeks.

These four seem counterintuitive to me:

  • You don’t want to get huge. Fine
  • It’s been 2.5 years you last cycled. That should solve your not wanting to get huge concern.
  • So, what is the point of running 20 weeks of any AAS now at 51 years old?

I would get bloods now to make sure you are in a good position to start taking anything. Your not young anymore. Need to be smart if you wanna continue to play this game.

I would get everything. You can blur your name and post it and we can help you get through it. Another great option would be to get bloods through Merek health and they have options where they will go through your bloods with you and answer questions you have. This would be the best route IMO.

Merek Health

Yes.

I am a former D1 basketball player and have maintained my body very well. I am still competitive and moving very well. Coming off of wrist injuries and meniscus tear from mountain biking where I was unable to train for 9 months. I have the time and space to train and eat properly. My son is about to turn 6. To be strong and look outstanding for my wife. I mainly stopped to have another child, and now I want one last good run friend.

Oh wow! I am glad to know about the arimidex. I will get my bloodwork done. Thank you!

Good for you. I wish you well.

I am a little different than most. If I’m in for a dime, I’m in for a dollar. I built on each cycle. I practiced frequent cycling. i.e., I was “on cycle” more than “off cycle.”

Understood. I believe I can get where I want to go with this cycle and then just maintain, at my age. Although more always comes a calling. Thank you. Thank you for your time and input also!
