Hi everyone I have some of the symptoms of Low T after my radical left orchidectomy last year November. Here are my latest Lab results.
T-Test 9.2 nmol/l - 8.0-27.1 nmol/l
SHBG 40.6 nmol/l - 11.4-52.3 nmol/l
F-Test 157 Pmol/l - 180-536 Pmol/l
FSH 3.7 IU/l - 1.2-15.8 IU/l
LH 3.3 IU/l - 1.3-9.6 IU/l
Oestradiol (Roche) 72 Pmol/l - 0-160 Pmol/l
I went to my GP because I was depressed, short tempered and fatigued not matter how much sleep I got and he put me on Lexamil.
Which helped my mood only but I did also put on about 5kgs while being on it for the month so I have stopped it.
How old are you?
We see 90 year olds at 265 ng/dL. You testosterone is so low and SHBG is so high that its choking off your Free T, it shouldn’t be difficult for doctors to figure out that having testicular cancer is the cause of your low hormone state.
Drugs will not fix your low hormone state, only TRT will. You need a referral to an endocrinologist and should demand Test ethanate and inject 50mg two times a week. Sustanon as a second choice and dose two times per week.
It requires a little common sense to realize that a man in his 90’s at 265 ng/dL is not the same things as a young man in his 20’s at the same level, younger men need more testosterone than an old fart.
Hi guys
I finally found a Endo he did tests and said that I should wait a few months and do another test as my levels came up a little bit ?
T-Test 11 nmol/l - 8.0-27.1 nmol/l
SHBG 38.1 nmol/l - 11.4-52.3 nmol/l
F-Test 199 Pmol/l - 180-536 Pmol/l
You need TRT, the sooner the better. Good luck
Unlikely to raise by a significantly margin on its own. Your levels have consistently been low, you’ve bounce around from 9-11 nmol/L and SHBG is binding up most of it. So even if testosterone rose to 15 nmol/L, SHBG would make most of it non-bioavailable.
You need TRT, there’s no two way about it. If you were paying for TRT, you would have it right now.
The NHS sucks royally at TRT!
Thanks for your help guys ! What about preserving my fertility for at least a year?
I’m in South Africa does anyone here know of a good trt doc in SA ?
