Man, if you’re considering antidepressants because of a lagging body part, you have many more problems than calves in your life. Please chill out and stop talking about drugs.

No. Your problem is shitty/lack-of training and not drugs.

Just eat more and train harder. Stop whatever programming you’re doing and train more intelligently. In my opinion, you had no business getting on gear in the first place.

Calves are weird. Some guys never need to train them because of genetics, some guys need to hit them every day to see results, and some guys need to attack them with crazy volume and intensity once a week. It really is about putting in the time to figure what works for you, and sticking with an approach for a few months before giving up on it.

Just keep in mind they’re a small muscle group that can only grow so much/so fast, so it’s not like you’re going to add three inches to them unless you gain 50 pounds. For context, what to your calves and arms measure? That’s an old school reference point to see how bad they’re actually “lagging”.
