Advice For All of You Raging Libido Guys

Holy shit! Now you’re implying I’m GAY!!! LMAO!!!

This just took on a whole new dynamic!!
Another few steps down the food chain and we’ll be throwing “YO MAMMA” insults back and forth!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Gladiator, Russel Crowe, yeet.

You got it!!

You mention carotid artery. My wife has cad. Her carotid is clear. It’s around the heart.

An elevated ratio of testosterone to estradiol in a racially diverse group of postmenopausal women was associated with an increased risk for myocardial infarction, stroke, and heart failure over a 12-year period, a new study shows.

@highpull @bmbrady77

Sorry brother. As the great @anon10035199 once said…this one is way above my pay grade!

I tagged you cause your wife will be doing hrt.

If there is anything out there that indicates trt in women can make cad worse and calcium, I can’t be responsible for having my wife risk that. She completely trust me with medical advice.

My wife is 42. Her younger brother just had a heart attack.

I feel you there man. My wife will be starting hrt, but she doesn’t have the complicating factors. She works out just as hard as I do and, aside from a few levels on her bloods that may need to be “optimized”, she’s pretty healthy…

Interesting.

Don’t you love it? Association.

From one of the references you cited:

“In the majority of animal experiments, exogenous testosterone exerted neutral or beneficial effects on the development of atherosclerosis. In conclusion, the overall effect of administration of testosterone on cardiovascular-disease risk is difficult to assess because androgens have such an extraordinary array of effects in vivo.”

I’ll look for my references, though they’re likely no better. My thinking is reducing visceral fat is the key.

Listen to the man!

We have to keep in mind that women tend to live longer than men by several years and hrt is a new thing. So women have basically 0 e2 in their 80s and probably close to 0 testosterone.

In my wife’s case I think she needs to lose weight first. She is obese. She just wants something to help her lose weight and give her the energy to do so. Any help?

She currently takes

Ranitidine
750mg metformin
20mg crestor
Multi vit
D3
Extra iron.
And 25mg dhea at night. Started last week
And 100 mg 5htp

@highpull

I am no longer “Ketos biggest fan” but I can tell you that it works very well for shedding excess fat. The only catch is that you have to keep a close eye on what types of fats you consume. Saturated fats are bad and in both myself and my wife elevated Cholesterol and LDL. If you watch that and make sure that the majority of fats come from good clean sources, it’s a great option for people who could benefit from slimming down in a quick, but healthy way.

In my experience (as it applies to my wife in particular), if SHE sees the results of a lifestyle change (ie diet) in the mirror, it will motivate her even more to take the next step to start picking up heavy shit.

It also helps if she’s got a good support system. I’m not saying the the whole house has to go on a diet, (I have no idea how any of you eat btw) but it helps her cause if she decides to eat healthier, and she doesn’t have to deal with you or one of the kiddos wolfing down a cheeseburger in front of her lol!!

And in your special case @charlie12, you could tell her that semen is loaded with protein…may help you on both ends as far as “end results”! Lol

Am happy to get any type of bj.

Is an unfinished bj really better than no bj at all? (In this context the bj was not finished by a handy)

You may want to look into recent studies that have linked anticholinergic drugs like Ranitidine to cognitive decline and increased risk of dementia in older patients. A lot of folks end up on anticholinergic drugs long term and they are apparently not good for your brain at all. Something to think about.

FWIW, there’s zero reason to “shut down” this thread.

There’s more to TRT than just getting injections and taking bloodwork. Tangential threads like this, whether they pan out or not, are valid discussion topics about related issues guys deal with during their treatment.

@bustofpallas any alternative to ranitidine? I even read they affect androgen receptors.

She takes for acid reflux. She gets Mostly at night when laying down with pain.

@charlie12 quick question… was your research on hrt for women directed at general studies, or did you focus on bioindentical cases only?(I haven’t had a chance to read the links you posted yet) I ask because I know there were a shit ton of issues related to female hrt when using synthetics and estrogen from horses, but not so much with bioidentical cases?

I figured she had reflux. I don’t know of any alternatives for controlling that other than maybe doing it with diet and avoiding foods and beverages that aggravate it. My wife used to get it bad when we first started dating but is fine now. I never hear her complain like she did when we were younger. We drank a lot more and she would smoke on weekends when we were drinking socially and only then. I thought I should mention it to you since I think it’s something most people are not aware of. If your brain is not working right being in good health is of no use you know?

Prilosec is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that blocks the production of acid by the stomach.

Ranitidine works differently. It is an H2 (histamine-2) blocker that inhibits the action of histamine on the cells, thus reducing the production of acid by the stomach

Maybe Prilosec is better?

I have not looked that deep into it.

Here’s how I see it. Most of us r on trt cause we are hypogonadal. Women are “suppose” to have very low e2 after menopause.

Longevity v quality? IDK.
