‘Fair’ is a children’s word.
From living so far it;s been clear that if you want something you have to put all of yourself into your desire. I think that’s why so many older people say they “used” to lift weights. They start out wanting a fantastic body and they devote all of their energy to it when they are young. And they SEE RESULTS! Then they start getting other desires like family and wealth. That’s when they get out of shape. One day they realize they have no passion to deadlift 600 lbs or to run a 17 minute 5k. I really appreciate this thread because it has helped me reflect on my life and help me truly understand what it is I desire. Strength? Yup. Speed? Yes. Woman? Definitely. Friends? Absolutely.God and Family? Forever.
I would say my advice to any would be think of what it is that you want and go for it. Don’t stress yourself out, just live your life day to day; and everyday, try to get one step closer to what it is that you want.
What I’ve learned (thus far) in life (though I haven’t lived long enough I feel like):
-
Think twice before spending your money.
-
There are no dumb questions, but you have to do your research before asking them.
-
Your breath is usually a good indicator of your mood, pay attention to it and get it to normal before saying or doing anything.
-
When talking to someone, don’t assume you have all the answers, you may hear the words, but you may not be hearing the issue.
-
Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.
That’s all I got.

Let it go, man! He doesn’t love you anymore! And all the carrots in the world won’t make you good enough.
-
Familiarize yourself with the limits of self-defense laws
-
A bulletproof vest is never a bad investment
-
Your way of doing things is your way of doing things; don’t try to make it anyone else’s
