Advantages With 30-30-30?

I must say that the hardest training I’ve EVER experienced was Super Slow Pre Exhaust! Darden’s BIG Program and the follow up with Keith Whitley “Bigger Muscles in 42 Days”. BRUTAL! Super Slow certainly worked there you’d have to agree. But see, the dirty little secret to all of Dr. D’s successful programs was…Dr. D! HE was the one training you, pushing you etc. Who among us is going to let him down and not work hard?! Supervision is the key to it all in my humbler opinion.

I would have to agree with your sentiments. And you defined a main problem in that a special trainer is needed for certain results. You directed your comments at me, and I feel my preceding responses have represented my thoughts well. The time elapsed since the original idea of SuperSlow had a beginning has showed this to be another weight lifting methodology, and certainly unlikely to be superior… You see, training as hard as possible has never led to long term exercise continuity, rather consistent , thoughtful, workout regularity is more important. This does not sell magazines and cause profits from protein products.

Im 55 yrs old. A devote HIT trainee. Ive basically been using 5/5 speed, 1 set for years. Sure i sway at times doing more volume but soon realized there’s zero benefits. So… i decided to try 30-30-30. I have no idea how someone says their mind sways. Its only 90 secs!. I

Exactly! If your mind sways in a 90-sec set, you’re in the wrong forum. If you’re only doing 1 set per muscle group, you’d best “lock in” and get that Mind-Muscle Connection right.
