Advanced Bodyweight Training

johnny what i’ve done is work on progressions the first 10-15 minutesof my workout.

it effectively made an incredible pre-workout, CNS activator, warmup for my main weight session.

btw, i think there’s only a few “advanced” BW exercises that are worth pursuing (front levers, chin/row variations on rings)

stuff like planche and generally straight armed “pressing” stuff i dont see much value (in terms of impact on physique)

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately I’m forced to only train with bodyweight.

CT , I’ve noticed that elite ring athletes can hyper extend at the elbow joint. Which bears your experience out.

Sigil, when you talk about the hormonal qualities of exercise it’s a double edged sword. Soviet Russia produced an NMA scale where moving the body through space yields the greatest results. Everybody refers back to that study (yup , it’s that dated ). Sounds good in theory, not that simple in practice.
