Adrenal Fatigue Article, Supplements?

I guess I should’ve asked this sooner before the thread closed, but in the article it suggests various supplements. For example, 2g of phosphatidylserine in divided doses. What I would like to know is how the timing should be done. Obviously timing is going to be essential for restoring circadian rhythm. When should products like Alpha GPC or phosphatidylserine be taken?

Or how about for cortisol management? When should rhodiola or resveratrol be taken? Is this something to take spread throughout the day? I would assume any GABA support supplements should be before bed. I have traditionally seen phosphatidylserine dosed as a PM supplement, but if your circadian rhythm is abnormal, it would be logical that you would take your doses earlier in the day.

This is actually the area of research I’ve just started in. A four-point test is best. You want to measure immediately on waking up, 30 minutes later, afternoon and night. there is some debate on best time to test the latter two. 6 and 10h after waking are pretty typical. Then you can draw a graph.

As for when to take phosphatidylserine, that’ll depend on your individual cort profile. I think a general dosing protocol that works well is before lunch, late afternoon, before bed.

What are you measuring? Cortisol? How do you measure it? Sorry if that’s a newbie question, this is completely new to me.
