Adding to TRT, Battling Fatigue...

Hi guys, A bit about me. I am 28, been on TRT for about a year now, and I also have crohns disease.

Here is the deal, while my TRT has helped my sex drive and other low T symptoms, it has also helped me maintain what little weight I have, and helped me from not putting on too much fat from being in bed all the time and my sickness.

Here is the deal, I have always been into trying to put on mass before I got sick, but now that I am sick and pretty much stuck to being skinny, I might as well accept it and try and be ripped at least.

I want to add something to my trt that will really help with my fatigue, help me shred the little bit of body fat I have, and give me a lot more strength. Mass isn’t what I am looking for. I have never really been into trying to figure out how to get ripped and have a tiny waist, so this is new to me. Id love some suggestions.

My diet is pretty contestant and clean (I have to eat clean because of my illness) That being said, I am limited because my diet is pretty much fixed and it probably wont contribute to much more results than I have already accomplished, so that leaves me with finding something that will aid in the fight against my constant fatigue, and maybe something that actually strips body fat. Something more than taking a pre-workout and extra cardio. I need the extra “umph” from something strong to help get there because I am limited.

Id love to hear what people recommend.

You have blood work? If your hematocrit is low, serum iron, ferritin; then you can be anemic. That can take away your energy, and with lower ferritin you may not be converting T4–>T3 and fT3 could then be low: functional hypothyroidism. Read tyroid basics stick, review your sources of iodine and check body temperatures. Supplement with iron rich foods or supplements if needed.

If body temps are low:
You can do thyroid labs: TSH, fT3, fT4 [not T3, T4]
Your stress levels may gave lead to adrenal fatigue, test rT3 and 8AM cortisol.
Stress can increase rT3 which blocks fT3.
If you have stress issues, read Wilson’s book on adrenal fatigue to see if it seems to be writing about you. You cannot fix AF with a pill, it is a process.

Lots of collected info in the stickies.

thank you. In fact I am anemic, I have to get iron infusions, I dont not absorb the necessary things via oral nutrition. That is why I am looking to take something seriously strong to help with shredding the last 5-10 lbs of bodyfat.

This has definetly been a hard process. And having to give up on the chase for mass was a hard one to wrap my brain around. Bahh.
