Adding HCG for Neruosteroid Production

Want to add HCG back in to get some of the other important steriods pumping. I responded poorly to it before as it increased my e2 and gave me blood pressure problems but at that time, I was on a much high TRT dose of 150mg a week. I am now on 12mg pinned daily (keeps myself and e2 very stable) and my
total test is 1272
free-t 21.4
prolactin 6.7
e2 28.6
I woul dlike to add 250mcg of HCG twice a week and to keep my levels as they are I was thinking of just not pinning test-c on the days I take the hcg.

Anyone have any thoughts or feedback on this?
I felt better with HCG UNTIL the sides hit me. Now my memory is worse and i feel like 10-20 IQ points have been shaved off.

There’s three type of responses to hCG, those who respond very well, those who respond initially and then symptoms develop and those that never feel good on it.

Your issues are likely being caused by something else, hCG is a bandaid.

Yes but trt reduces pregnenole and progesterone and I have done blood work and everytime I was on HCG those values came back higher and I felt better. The true cause, I believe, and like many others have also experienced, is the lack of neruosteriods.

You’re leaving out something, until you got sides, suggesting your problem is something else. Anything, even those with normal hormone levels will get a temporary benefit from starting hormone therapy or making changes to their hormone therapy even though nothing is wrong with their hormones.

Fixing your hormones is great, what about other aspects of your lifestyle, diet, exercise, etc.

How do you know these changes in pregnenole and progesterone wasn’t just a natural daily variation?

When I post about myself, I include the three most important things in my life, my hormones, diet and lifestyle. You didn’t include any of that, so I must assume it’s the furthest thing from your mind.

I hope I’m wrong.

Oh, I don’t eat gluten or dairy. I have had the same diet for about three years now. It consists of steak, chicken breasts, fruits, a few pistacios a day, a couple of egg yolks a week, honey, white rice, and carrots. Also a small slice of frozen liver every morning which equates to about 4oz a week. No changes in that regard. I eat tacos at the same place once or twice a week. Sushi about once a month and maybe add in some pho once a month too. I know what you’re asking and I get it, but I am so consistent and regimented that the only variable was HCG. I initally feel better on HCG then after about two months of running it, I start getting high blood pressure and also very short tempered and I check my e2 and it’s crazy high. After dropping my trt dose AND my HCG everything has stablized. Now that I’ve dropped my trt dose I would like to add in HCG again as another test and see if I can lower my test dose a bit further to try to maintain the same levels pre hcg.

Grains aren’t healthy, grains can cause an overgrowth of bad bacteria in the gut. Whole grains are high in carbs, whole grains leads to more glucose. Fruits, if you choose the wrong ones, are high in sugar.

80% of cancer in the US is linked to sugar (glucose) and carbs in the diet.

I‘m on the carnivore diet and I highly recommend it!

We actually have an HCG thread.

Anyway, what dose has your doctor prescribed for HCG?

Do you mean 250 IU twice per week? That’s a paltry dose of HCG, like hardly anything.

That is your T value on 84 mg per week?

It doesn’t matter much when you take the HCG.

Where can I find the HCG thread? I would have to check, to be honest, it’s been about a year since I last pinned my HCG. i thought it was 250 twice a week, but it may have been 500. Honestly don’t remember off hand.

All of my levels are in the OP.

I know the timing itself does not matter, though I want to reduce the increase in T I seemed to get with HCG as well. So keep all my levels the same but getting some of the steroids from HCG plumping up my balls.

What does your doctor recommend?

I personally got e2 issues with HCG, to the point of panic attacks, which I believe were due to high e2. this got better with an AI use, which i don’t want to take.
However, when I switched from Tcyp 3x week, to Tprop 7x week, somehow magically my e2 issues resolved. i got no more anxiety which seems like was my biggest e2/hcg side effect.
overall my libido is way higher with hcg and I get this overall ‘sexual wellbeing’ feeling, which is hard to describe.
my current regimen is Tprop 30mg/daily + 3x 750IU hcg/week with no sides.

I’ve seen this proported, but I’ve never actually seen it represented in blood work. Certainly not in my own anyway.

I never understood how people could obsess on E2 and think it is the cause of everything (or the solution). It’s even more surprising to think that pregnenolone and progesterone are the key to happiness!
