Should I factor in exercise e.g. strength training and walking into my daily calorie allowance.
If I walk 10, 000 steps does it allow me to eat a few hundred more calories?
No.
NO!
To burn off 1 M&M, you would have to walk the distance of a football field.
Use the NEPA walks to your weightloss advantage, not as justification to go off plan.
Dude, try to go a whole 7 days without slipping/moments of weakness/cheat meals before you start worrying about this level of detail.
You’re thinking too much, my friend.
Yes I suppose you are right. Rome was not built in a day. I only ask as the apps build it into them .I have not deducted calories for exercise though.
The apps are dumb. I wouldn’t even be counting at this point if I were you, but since you are, I’d treat your calories in as the variable and your activity as a constant… then, as you get worn out, make sure you are still doing that constant level of activity.
Our bodies are actualy extraordinarily efficient with energy expenditure.
We gain by the pound, but lose it by the gram.
Strength training no. It burns almost nothing as 90% of gym time consists of rests between sets. Walking yes, but you shouldnt eat more because you walked more. You should stick to same calories and walk more to burn more. No one wants to be cutting for months.
