Thank you.
Ha! Nice!
So, was Mark Ruffalo on steroids, trt, or gammaā¦lol
You should have seen Arnold while he was filming Stay Hungry. He said he had to lose a lot of weight for the role. He sure did from where I sat. For you guys that claim Arnold had weak thigh development, you should have seen those chicken legs. From the podium he apologized for looking like a āshtickā.
And after the filming he got all his size back.
You sound like you were there?
If I recall correctly Arnold did a guest posing exhibition at a bodybuilding contest in Sarasota, FL. I believe that Tom Platz was there competing in the amateur show. He was flown in to compete against Ivor Butcher in a battle of best legs.
Platz won the show, but the judges gave the Best Legs trophy to Ivor.
Re: enclomiphene
I never used that, but long ago, before I started TRT, I used a measly half a tablet of clomid per day and my T went from 240 to 790 ng/dl.
An acquaintance of mine used clomid for fertility and hypogonadism and his T is regularly 800 to 1000.
That Wolverine in Japan movie he was massive, insanely ripped. At like 45.
Thanks! I thought maybe it was that one.
Never heard of clomid. Why donāt more people use it?
the editor of hotlegaltakes.com checking in!
Itās been used by competitive bodybuilders for a long time. I had a doctor friend who used to prescribe it to hypogonadal patients instead of TRT, too. Must have just escaped your notice.
I guess Iām a bit naive when it comes to knowledge of these things but Iām trying to learn now as having some hormonal issues due to an operation and the National
Health service in England seems to be clueless on how to treat me.
Generally speaking, most people tend to have too many side effects from long term use of clomid. There are some people who love it and do really well on it, but it seems like for most people it is not a good long term solution.
A bit off topic, but this must have been that World Gym on Garnet, right?
Do you think Gerard Butler was all Hollywood magic in 300? I canāt make up my mind on that. He wasnāt huge, but his normal physique isnāt very impressive, and it was a quick transformation.
There certainly was a lot of tricks. Maybe just focusing all the effort on getting lean, and using some tricks for size would do it?
Check out the American Sniper workout article on this site. Remind yourself what an actor in his late 30s achieved with training and appropriate supplements.
Try and align that with the comments made about how much muscle can be gained naturally.
I feel like itās a testament to the profound impact being lean and using a lot of shadows can have on how someone is perceived.
While the cast did get in great shape for 300, sure, CGI helped and even make-up was added to really make those abs pop. Also, actors keep barbells, dumbbells, and bands on set to get pumped and veiny before shooting.
I recall seeing Vin Diesel in some behind-the-scenes footage for one of the early Fast & Furious movies. He was sitting in his car with one arm hanging out the window repping a dumbbell.
