Football game that I wanted to watch was on, so my wife watched the kids & I just set up the laptop in front of my platform, doing pulls every play or two spaced out through the first quarter. I actually love doing this kind of workout because it sort of takes me back to playing/training for football. A dozen or so singles / doubles of an explosive full body exercise (timed approximately to 1 set per play) almost simulates training for a long drive as an offensive lineman.
Some work travel in the next 2 weeks so I’m going to have to rejigger a bit to squeeze all 3 of my “key” workouts (SSB Box Squat, Box Squat w/Chains, and Sumo Deadlift) in this week. But that’s actually the nice thing about really focusing on 3 key workouts and just filling in with some active recovery or fun workouts on the other days - still should be fine.
Didn’t really like the kettlebells in this hotel gym and the dumbbell area was super crowded so I decided to do a little light cardio and break a quick sweat.
